Today, 18th of January at 8:05 AM I visit Asda store and I was browsing the bakery section, unsure of what to choose, one of the bakery staff members noticed me and stepped in to help. He recommended something that had just been freshly baked and was about to be stocked on the shelves. Knowing I was in a hurry to get to work, he quickly packed it for me. Employees like him are a true asset to the store. On top of that, he was very polite and cheerful.

No tills open just self scan due to no staff, (so I'm told) but needed assistance due to scan reader playing up, seven different staff members needed so would have been more helpful if the tills were on , will give this a wide birth from now on

Good choice of products in store fruit and vegetables sells out so nothing much left in the evening. Never enough tills at the weekends. Be careful where you park as car park on a slope and trolleys left all over. McDonald's on the side of the car park is a plus, Starbucks now in the car park as well- serves good coffee but so slow. There's a post box in the entrance and 3 cash machine justoutside. Has a passport photo booth, currency exchange and a coinstar machine. Timpsons just outside the store.

Shopped here for years, over the past few months slowly started to get noticeably worse, feels dirty and there's a disgusting smell coming from the freezer isles that's been there for weeks, poor quality fruit and veg if there's any at all, meat and fresh produce still on the shelves a day after expiry, bought meat then when I've got home realised that it goes out on the day, poor management and quality control, yet the prices keep climbing, think it's time to start paying more elsewhere for better quality all round.

I’m so fed up of getting my shopping from here and everything being out of date! They have staff stood around at the front of the store doing nothing because we’re all doing the checkout jobs for them and they can’t even do date checks. I bought a pack of smoked salmon yesterday, came to use it this morning and it had yesterday’s date on it. I bought houmous a couple of weeks ago and that had expired two days before but it was still on the shelf for sale and sausages regularly have the same day on that they go out. The stock rotation is abysmal, I would rather travel the extra now and go to a supermarket you can actually trust and who care about what they do.

A smaller store, never really any queues, very friendly and welcoming staff. Only downfall is I went in to cash in a scratch card and the employee told me they turn their machine off at 1930! I knew they turned it off earlier than they close but when they close at 0000, 1930 seems ridiculously early.
