I shopped here today, I've shopped here before. An elderly theatre customer came up to me and asked for my bag. No, no one can take what I paid for, and the cashier was very friendly, thank you, she shines like a theatre actress. I felt very lucky, it was a nice shopping, not everyone can have it because they want to work and earn money, some can't do it and think everyone is like them

Well done ASDA, great logical decision making. I went in your store today, selected what I wanted to buy and went to the checkout. Only to be greeted with "self service" only options. So I asked a staff member where is the till please and she told me there was not one open I had to self-scan. I replied " but I do not work here" and was then told that I was rude (having only actually been stating a fact) and that "it is really easy" Said staff member passed my stuff over the scanner then walked away when I handed her the cash to cover the transaction. Saying "I'm not putting your money through as well, put it in that slot," pointing to the appropriate part of the robot. Despite my dissatisfaction with this, I did try to put my cash in, but five attempts and no apparent response from the machine, so I gave up and left, leaving my purchase to be put back on the shelf by your staff. So, you failed to take any revenue from the potential customer, AND your staff had to spend further time putting stock back on the shelves due to your failure. HOW in the name of ANY common sense is that an improvement in your business model ? You NEED to run cashiers and human operated checkouts. Let me know when you have resumed normal service and I will consider returning, until then, I will shop ANYWHERE else that does actually provide customer service and staffed checkouts.

I use the store daily, and find most of the staff friendly and helpful.
Due to it's small size, the range and availability of products is patchy
with way too much space wasted on drinks, and often low stocks of
basics that you need everyday.
You need to watch the prices, there are some good prices, but a lot
are expensive.
Update Christmas eve tried to top up my meter key and Asda only accept cash as payment, the ATM was broken, thankfully the Saltney petrol station was open and they accept cards, so why can't Asda?

Over the past year the quality of food has dropped and goes rotten quickly, so many items have disappeared from the shelves as well. Good staff though

Just moved to the area and had to get nail varnish remover for the girl freind. Just to let you know it doesn't sell it. Crazy days that. One member of staff who was very helpful said they are constantly getting asked for it but for some crazy reason they don't. Apart from that really good little Asda.

I walked into the store tonight and I quickly realised I'd forgotten my mask so I walked out again. The manager had spotted that and came out of the store to offer me a mask so I could shop which I thought was a really nice gesture.

Came into your store as just moved to the area to do some shopping after finishing I when to the checkout and asked a lady if a check was open, the reply I got was no its self-service now, this lady was stud putting cigarette away and talk to the over lady, when I said I don't want to use the self-service as I had a lot in my trolly she said was use the big one by the doors with very bad attitude and no customer service at all so I was about to leave and she started back chatting me to someone else that was shopping in the store so then I headed to speak to a manager as I don't really think that asda like customers to walk away unhappy, the manager seemed nice but in the end I still left unhappy and without my shopping, I would like to asked for an area managers number as I am not going to just leave this as just an review as the lady should not be working or dealing with customers with bad attitude like that even more to the pint over customers was wanting get for her to authorise these shopping. Not good at all
