Came in 5 mins before pharmacy was supposed to shut and the shutters were down 3 staff including the pharmacist leaving early. Came for cough/cold remedy. Unfortunately I work at the hospital I left 40 mins late after my shift caring for patients so I came in just 7 mins before 9pm Fri night I suppose some do not care

Worse ASDA ever. Security when leaving makes you feel very uncomfortable as a customer, all fresh products always empty. Shelves all dirty and toliets are disgusting.
Better off going to Durham or Bishop instead. Not shopping here anymore!

As I live just around the corner, I use this store out of convenience. And although it gets the job done for an Asda, with all the products you'd expect to find, there's constantly something that annoys me. Whether it's those dam gnomes that got infuriating after the first 3 days they brought them out this year, to the servers breaking down and not letting us use a gift card, leading to my autistic brain making me yell "WHAT ARE WE GONNA EAT!?!?!?" Loud enough for half the store to hear which was a little embarrassing, and some of the staff being quite rude in general. Apart from one, look at my email and if you know me, you know it's you lol

The prices also change whenever they feel like it, with pringles being locked at £1.50 one day, and then being locked at £1.85 the next, just to be put back at £1.50 again when sales go back down and also because it's Spennymoor you often get shoplifters, one of which held a staff member at knife point over a bottle of alcohol.

I say just go to Aldi, farmfoods, iceland or if you have a car travel to Tesco, as you'll get a better shopping experience for similar prices if you get a club card.

Not sure what’s going on with this Asda lately tbh. Stock seems to be quite depleted on more than a few staples…a good number of times I’ve visited (over the past year in particular)…and I have always resided in the town…

Do us a favour and change the name of Click & collect to Click & Wait! Last 2 orders were delayed, the first one for 50 minutes and the other one for 20 minutes! I asked them if they were understaffed or had any other lack of resources and she said no everything was fine! What's the point of having the Click and collect if I have to waste my time waiting there when I can go get My shopping done in the store itself?! I understand the 30 mins slots but please be on time or at least hire staff that are organised!

Medium sized superstore with cheap fuel. Parking for disabled people for 18 cars at the front of the stop. Customer toilets too. They have a pharmacy that can dispense prescription in addition to imthe shop floor medications etc. In store bakery for bread, buns and cakes. Hot counter selling chicken, design your own pizza in store too. They stock the latest books and games. But no longer sell mobile phones

Worst supermarket ever, no one on the tills and trying to do a full family shop through the self service is too time consuming, not only are prices high but I am expected to serve myself for free. I’ll be doing my Christmas shop at Tesco this year where they still have staff on some of the tills.

Awful store. Too small inside and always rammed with people can barely move. Shelves half empty at 6pm! Was only one manned checkout left and the woman put up a sign saying closed. I asked is another one opening and she said ''no I am clocking off you'll have to do it yourself'' at self service when I had a trolley full. Extremely rude not even an apology. Some disabled people cannot do it themselves etc. Not big enough with how many new houses are being built in Spennymoor.
