Went to Asda today. I paid cash and the rest to be on my card, however my phone wasn't working and I couldn't make the remaining payment. The staff were so lovely and tried helping me. When it didn't work after so many attempts, one member of staff called Jean paid the remaining £8 on her own card. She doesn't know me and yet did such an act of kindness when quite frankly, I wanted the ground to swallow me up. She wouldn't give me her details to repay her and just told me to pay it forward. Which I absolutely will. She then hugged me, I could've cried.
What a kind lady. Thank you Jean for being so kind and generous. And to the other ladies who were helping me. These ladies are a credit to your store. Pay rises I think 🤗
Thanks a million ❤️

My mum called me really upset after her weekly trip to Asda last Thursday.
She asked the lady why there was nobody on till as she struggles using the self service.
The lady was very rude and basically said even an idiot could use it.
When my my mum said that she doesn’t see why there can’t be one person on till for those who struggle, instead of explaining it nicely the lady said “I would love to have someone on the till staring blankly in to space all day” then stormed off muttering under her breath!
My mum won’t go back there as she really embarrassed her and made her feel small!
I wish she had got the ladies name but unfortunately all she could tell me was she’s the one that’s always prancing around bossing everyone about!
My mum is genuinely a very kind person and was shocked to be spoken to in such a way just for asking a question.
A bit of staff training in people skills wouldn’t go a miss.

I completed an order for click & collect from the Asda at Stoke Park in Ipswich. I collected on 29/12/24. I ordered 5 jars of HIPP banana, mango, & yoghurt for my baby. I’ve gone to feed it to him today & the first thing I noticed was that when moved the jar it all moved as one inside. I then opened the jar and realised that it had gone off; the yoghurt had curdled & the smell was awful. I then checked the date on the lid which stated 09/24! I then checked the remaining four jars and they are all out of date. I’m not sure how this has happened as I’ve never had them be out of date when I pick them from the shelf in this Asda myself. It’s unacceptable to sell such out of date food; but especially baby food!
Also during the click & collect is been given 1 pack of wipes rather than the multipack so whoever pulled the order thought that I’d be happy to pay £9 for a single packet of wipes. Thankfully this was quickly rectified and the young man went in and found the rest of the box.

Really good and the deli to go pizzas are fantastic! But if you go to the self checkout sometimes the workers are (what they look like to be) ignoring the people who need them like if they are buying alcohol or medication. And at the deli to go pizza they have changed some of their ingredients and have gotten rid of the oil so if anyone likes oil on their pizza you can no longer get it from there. They also only do two types of pizza that you can customise yourself stone bake and deep pan whereas before you could do wood fire and others. Also one of the pizza ladies ignored us when making our pizza talking to another lady only listening to us when taking what we wanted on our pizza. I will go again because it is local but still.

Quick and easy Click & Collect for the Xmas shopping. Organised and efficient. Wish we'd known to take bags, it was probably mentioned when the delivery was done, but I must have missed it. No big deal really, just free range shopping, rolling around the back seat. 😂 I will remember next time!
