I popped in to grab a lunch for travel. No veggie options in the sandwiches available so they put me one together fresh. Loads of filling in a generously sized bread roll. Sticky buns made with the most divine smelling bread, currants and soft icing which were too delicious for words. All followed with a rich and large cake which was moist and melt in the mouth. I was so full I really overdid it, but it was all so delicious I couldn't stop myself from eating it all! You have been warned ?

Great friendly staff. Made what I wanted. A bacon melted sandwich. That cakes were really good thanks.

I am a regular customer at this Bakery and recently I have noticed the rolls are considerably smaller than usual. I know prices have increased due the the cost of living but surely they should stay the same size like the ones you use for making up filled rolls. I always look forward to my 3 sausage filled roll on a Saturday morning but, can only fit in 2. ?

When we walked in at 1pm We were served by a lovely helpful girl We asked for something very simple and were barked at by a woman across the other counter with the name badge KAZ She basically talked to me and my partner like I'd walked into her house on Christmas day and had a wee on her kids The young girl didn't know how to respond ... this happened twice No manners ... at all I've been using that bakery every now and again for 3 years and never have I been met with such arrogant disdain It wasn't busy and our requests for food wernt out of the ordinary.... of you don't have something or can't make something You don't need to speak to a customer like they asked you for your bank details Awful I feel sorry for the young woman in that bakery who didn't know what t do after KAZ barked at us

Certainly recommend avenue bakery & deli, wide range of food products to choose from including fresh bread, confectionery, sandwiches hot and cold, toasties and many more. Amazing service every single time never had an issue with anything I have ordered. Mask or exemption is required upon entry and if it's raining they is canopy so you don't have to stand outside waiting in the rain!

Nice place, fresh sandwiches with a decent choice of fillings. Bit of a picky thing here but the bacon on breakfast rolls is really fatty and the fat is really undercooked. Fair prices and friendly service.

Really good food but a little bit pricey

Reason not 5* is the vanilla slices are soggy not crisp as I excepted filling wasn't great either but best trad pasties ever sorry cakes ?
