Banwell Garden Centre

Lovely garden center, although small up to your big chain garden centers. Prices are competitive and we picked up some nice healthy plants from the bargain section The cafe attached does a lovely breakfast and has a varied lunch menu too. A little bit expensive, but great food to be fair.

Had a delightful first visit to this small but well stocked garden centre and loved the fact that it is family run and not like the larger garden centres. Lovely cafe offering tasty, well priced food (we has the small breakfasts) and the woman running the cafe went above and beyond to assist our family needs. Look forward to returning again.

Beautiful family run garden centre. Selks a wide range of plants from veg to bedding fruit trees to ornamental trees. There are plenty of gorgeous perennial plants they also sell hard landscaping . Coloured aggregate. Stepping stones.pots . Various composts. Can recommend the potting mix with added John inner. They also have sheds and greenhouses. And very knowledgeable staff. The best thing is they have a fantastic cafe with beautiful cakes, foods, and a variety of drinks . They do shut at 4 pm in the cafe, though, so be there an hour before. Only down side is the balcony has gone where you could sit and see the view now. You have to sit in the conservatory to see the view . Oh and dogs are allowed in garden centre and outside cafe There are also lots of indoor garden sundries

Lovely garden centre, lots of items that you don't see in the larger garden centres, plants well stocked. We enjoyed a pot of tea and cake in the cafe and purchased some planters, very reasonably priced, highly recommend.

We visited to go to the cafe for lunch but what a terrible experience. We ordered two sandwiches, but after an hour of waiting, I asked where they were and was told they were just coming, but it was still a further 30 minutes before they arrived. We were warned of a twenty minute delay due to being busy, but most had left by the time we got ours. I read some reviews about it being the best garden centre around, if that's true I dred to think what the poor ones are like. Go to the one further down the road towards Wells. That's a real garden centre.

Lovely place with coffee shop. Prices are reasonable . We went hour before they close and regret that we have to leave so soon. Next time will stay longer ?

A smaller centre than where I usually go but packed with various healthy plants and garden ornaments. Lovely cafe inside, where you can get meals during the day and cakes and refreshing coffee/tea, soft drinks. All the staff were very pleasant.

We just dropped by as we were passing. Glad we did, they had a good range of goods on offer, we bought some plants for the garden and a gecko decoration. In fact there were lots of gifts on offer. The café looked interesting too, but we didn't have time to sample it. Grateful for use of the toilet.
