The store has a good position in Freeport but the 2 staff were disinterested and unhelful and the stock seemed pretty haphazard so we didn't buy anything.

I took back a jacket today that I received for Christmas it was a size too small so I wanted to exchange it for a larger size. I had the receipt and tag still with the jacket yet the manager was being extremely difficult about me exchanging it saying the jacket is wet (it was pouring down outside) and I’ve obviously worn it I replied that I hadn’t explaining I had just walked from my car to the shop in the rain with it draped over my arm. After arguing for 5mins she begrudgingly accepted the exchange. Her attitude towards me and the way she decided to treat me as if I was stealing from her was uncalled for and extremely frustrating, I won’t be using this branch again.

Pretty miserable shop staff

There is something about this store that I just dont like. One of the sales staff is a bit off. I noticed the same comment from someone else which gave me the courage to write this as I dont like to leave negative comments. I've been into this store half a dozen times and I always get the feeling of being watched - i just dont like the experience and now I dont bother going in there when shopping in freeport.

I’m not one for reviews but I must say our experience in the newly re-furbed shop was fantastic. Worn Barbour for years, there was a decent range of products (not all sizes available, but is an outlet) and got some great deals here compared to High Street prices. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and a special mention should go to the manager who helped us every step of the way in choosing our garments. How refreshing to get the level of service every retail shop should be offering, but fail to deliver! Not here. We’ll certainly return for our Christmas shopping!
