If you've never been to Barry's then you're missing a real treat!! Delightful staff, everyone's very helpful and friendly. The prices are unbelievably low so.in today's 'Cost of Living Crisis' times its an absolute MUST GO !!
I believe the owners are also involved with the Community Fridge which to me says it all. I volunteered for many years with a homeless charity and say what you like, there but for the grace of God etc etc. As a lone parent many moons ago & with a wage which was slightly too high to get any benefits help bar £5 a week on the child benefit because I was a lone parent Yes Honestly !! Somewhere like Barry's would have been a life saver as would the Community Fridge.
A lot of goods are sold in cases of say 6 which are perfect for families but they're happy to let you get just one or 2 which suits me perfectly & 4 packs of top quality crisps for a £1 ? Got to be a no brainer even more so with Halloween & Xmas looming again ? even if you just want a few boxes of sweets for the bin men or your postie ( if folk still tip.at Xmas? I do & it's always been very well recieved!!)
It's up to you guys out there but I've gone for years and if you remember the Tina Turner song 'Simply the Best ' ? These good people definitely are !!

Excellent value, some proper bargains ro be had can be a bit hit and miss on stock but if you keep your eye on their Facebook page you will be alright

Friendly and welcoming service. Good selection of snacks and drinks. You may find some stuffs with short dates but majority are outdated.

Visited today some brilliant bargains especially on bulk buying soft drinks. Some things however iv noticed are no cheaper compared to other supermarkets but still well worth a visit when in the area! Parking can be an issue but if I lived closer I would shop here much more frequently.
