I went to buy in the shop there is a pak guy he doesn’t know what is meant by smile he put a worst face on us. If i am asking for a price of some fags he took couple of seconds to answer me back as if i am asking for free to be honest as i am paying for it treating like a stray dog is not right sorry guys you need a good smiling and attentive staff to work in the till

Best avoid. Price varies greatly from advertised price. Refuse to give receipts. For a convenience shop you are made to feel like an inconvenience, for asking for a bag. Short changed on numerous occasions. Check prices before you pay to see for yourself how it is rung up on the till. Most of the staff are welcoming apart from the older man who gives off the most negative energy. I'll stick to Handy Corner in future.

I visited this shop a few weeks ago. I needed change, £30 in coins for the laundrette, which is also located in the parade. I had left it too late to get change from the bank or the post office. The "gentleman" behind the counter asked me how much I needed, I told him and his response was he can only do £20, which I was more than happy with. But then he told me he couldn't give it to me as cashback and that I had to use the cash machine in the shop which charged me for taking out my own money!

I needed washing detergent so I got that too. When I went to the checkout, I gave him £30. He put £10 back on the counter so I told him, £20 in change as promised and that I wanted to pay for the washing detergent out of the extra £10. He took it but then proceeded to tell me off infront of all the customers in the shop, but the worst was when he told me not to come back to the shop. He didn't have to help me out at all, why help me and then have a go?.

My plan was to go back in there after I had loaded the washing machine and do some shopping because I was taking taxi back home. This man made me feel awful. I won't be setting foot in there again, even if it was the only shop open during a pandemic.!

terrible all the way , atrocious customer service shame because it is my local. If you are using the postoffice service in it be careful they will pretend your letter/parcel doesn't fit on their size checker in order to make you pay extra. ( even when you proove them wrong by inserting the parcel yourself in the checker )
