This venue was class! I've seen a few bad reviews about the sound system but I think it did very well (a warehouse will have an element of echo but that almost adds to the appeal in my take).

Went here for the Boiler room session Saturday Feb 3rd and this was a good run of Techno with mixed DJs throughout.

Security was quick and efficient here. Drinks were cheap, the only issue I had was the toilets (a smell of fish, and not the kind from the seaside...)

I would definitely come here again for another DJ set.

I had a great time with impressive music and nice sound. The venue is pretty huge and offers plentiful options for drink and food. There is a lot of toilets, although they get very busy in peak hours. Seating is plentiful, although outdoors only, and again gets very busy so becomes limited. Security was inconsistent but I appreciated that it wasn't invasive once inside. Overall I would certainly return and would recommend over many other rave venues in the north.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. The size of the crowd was perfect, especially for being sold out. It allowed for easy access to the bar and had easy flow between inside and out.
As for the sound system, was pretty good! There were a few areas where the high were so painful and I had to put my earplugs in... But if you get level with where the light and sound crew were it was fine haha! I think it could use some sound absorption but what do I know.
Lights were pretty cool!

Great lighting setup and the speakers were pretty good as well. Drink prices were so high though at £10 for a pint! Queue for security was fairly long when we arrived but went down fairly quickly. Onsite food was pretty decent and a reasonable price.

I’ve raved all over Europe and having been here three times now I think I am in a position to comment. It is full of children!! Honestly a lot of them didn’t even look 17. Felt like I was at a high school disco but that comes down to TikTok turning techno mainstream. If you can deal with endless streams of kids pushing past you constantly then go for it but annoying would be an understatement. The crowd at Liverpool raves is so so different to Manchester and the likes of Warehouse Project for which I am a big fan <3 Anywho, the sound system at Blackstone Street isn’t wonderful but it is a warehouse so that’s to be expected. We were waiting in line in the rain for ages yesterday and it’s not sheltered so we got soaked before we even got inside. Also there are just two taps for water and no one queues as to be expected so unless you want to wait ten minutes to refill your bottle your only option is pay through the nose for water from the bar at £2.50 a bottle. And the toilets get really gross really quickly. Bring tissues. Now what really concerned me was that there was a young lad who was disturbingly unwell next to me and the medical area was on the far left side of the venue by the stage, we were on the far right by the sound desk. This is a huge oversight because you have to push all the way through the crowd. I was trying to get security’s attention but they couldn’t care less. I also saw three of them pinning a young lad up against the wall outside demanding what was in his pockets. Such aggression and frankly abuse cannot be justified.

Venue is mint. Loads of room at the back even when it’s rammed, far too hot inside tho. Drinks prices seem to have changed now are a lot more reasonable which was glad about. Cloakroom, food stalls, portaloos were stocked up with loo roll all night which you never usually see so that was great. Outside area is great. However - SECURITY!!! Wow. Absolute BULLIES and all on a huge power trip. Watched them strangle, man handle and drag people out of the venue. Also watched them storming their way through the crowds both inside and outside trying to intimidate and bully people. Absolutely disgusting. This was my first time here and had been warned about them… definitely won’t be returning after seeing it with my own eyes. Huge put off and did not feel safe at all soon as they were around.
