So pleased to discover this South African food/emporium in the heart of Bradwell Abbey after losing it when it moved away from Kiln Farm many years ago. My son's now have Biltong again and I found my beloved Rusks. So much else too. Thoroughly recommended to those looking for their South African fixes! 🙂👍

Everything South African. Very useful shop if you don’t mind racing down the A5, taking a couple of turns and getting here. They sell all the popular Saffa Snacks, plus six packs of beers, Springbok scarves and other merch. Of course, the main attraction is at the back of the shop, the big freezers and fridges full of tender South African beef and lamb, borewors, chops, rump steak, everything you need for a braai.
And some biltong to munch will you wait for the fire

Excellent Biltong & meat products. Prices £££

I bought a 1kg pack of biltong and am very disappointed. It tastes more like American beef jerky than anything authentically South African. Lots of fake ingredients too such as hydrolysed vegetable protein (SOYA), rice flour, yeast. Derived from genetically modified ingredients. Such a waste of good meat! Authentic biltong is arguably coriander seed, brown vinegar, course salt and black pepper. Not what’s in this bag for sure. Kids won’t touch it. Not moreish at all.
