Bolton market has really raised their game. Nice music, good atmosphere, nice seating. Pizza, Bubble Tea, a bar, Indian food, Chinese, Korean, Burgers, I feel like it had it all. Even a pool table. A really great place to socialise I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner!

Absolutely shocked but in a good way!
It was so busy all traders doing great.
The fruit and vegetables stalls with food from around the world is a must see, it's been well.over a decade since I have been and will definitely be going back.

The market is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Please note that it is closed on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Fantastic. Focusing on the fish, meat and veggies, this is what a market should be like. Live shellfish, hung game birds, boxes of scotch bonnets, offal, massive racks of ribs...
Selection of independent cafes and food stalls with lots of variety (with normal people, a complete lack of bearded hipsters serving sourdough pizza), Altrincham take note!
Toilets free and reasonably clean.
Parking is run by NCP and £1.80 for an hour; busy on a Saturday morning, get there early and use the NCP app to avoid the queue for the parking payment machines.
