Booths, Burscough

Can't really fault it. Very nice place to sit and snack and enjoy a pleasing coffee whilst passing the time of day. Store itself I found well stocked with the above average quality of choice fare although my diabetic friend found the shelf choice wanting. As already said had enjoyed the cafe though a choice of hot food other than the two soups available would be nice.

I recently visited this store and made a few purchases. I must express my upmost satisfaction with the quality and taste of the bananas I purchased. They were truly exceptional and surpassed any previous experience I have had. Furthermore, the BLT sandwich I bought was equally impressive. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience.

Excellent store, everything really well considered and laid out. Some local produce available, years ahead of M&S.

Wide variety of high-quality foods. Prices are higher than other supermarkets, but the best. Have all counters ie Butchers, Fishmonger, Deli & Cheese. Also Hot take away food. Cafe is lovely for a nice snack & coffee. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great store. Lots of lovely food and drink. Special cheeses and breads and good quality produce. More expensive than Aldi but you get what you pay for.

Visiting some friends on their narrow boat, we decided to visit Booths.. very wisely! The store is situated on a former Naval flying station, and the design is reminiscent of an aircraft hangar. There is plentiful carparking available. Entering the store is such a pleasure, everything is clean and fresh with a huge variety of stock to investigate! There is a slant towards locally produced food and drink...the first thing I found was a barrow load of local potatoes that had been dug this morning. There is a lovely bakery and fish counter, and the air was heavy with the scent of curry spices...there is a Rafi curry outlet within the store...well worth a visit. In addition to the store there is a cafe attached, which served really good coffee and some lovely sandwiches and cakes. Oh and my doggie, Jasper was made welcome on the tables outside when I had lunch Overall Booths is a fantastic store and if I'm ever back this way again, will be a definate visit.
