We had a wonderful time at Brook House. Welcomed by Becky and the dogs on the terrace, with tea and scones. Our room was spacious and stylish with amazing views of the beautiful garden. Comfy bed, crisp linen and down filled pillows ensured a great nights sleep too.||||Delicious breakfast using local produce, including home made granola organic yoghurt and fresh fruit in our own lounge. Becky is a great cook and on our last evening she prepared us a lovely 3 course meal. ||||A totally tranquil couple of days, can't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed for one night at Brook House and immediately felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Becky gave us a very warm welcome, a lovely pot of tea and biscuits. The house is lovely, beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable and we had an amazing nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, fresh strawberries, blueberries,yogurt, homemade granola, full English breakfast made with tasty local ingredients and perfectly cooked. Locally baked bread with jam or honey. Just perfect in every way!!

My husband and I stayed here at Brook House, Dowlish Wake, Somerset for four nights. Becky the owner was amazing, kind, thoughtful and accommodating with all our request of places to visit. The room was spotlessly clean, view wonderful. We could come and go at leisure. If we wanted to stay in the garden for the day/afternoon we could. The breakfast was scrumptious, lovely fresh eggs and local bacon.The quiet village was so pretty with a cider farm next door who also sold food. Plenty of walks from the house or near by. Defiantly will be back!

We stayed at Brook House during last weekends storm which cut off the electricity for 3 days. Becky cooked top restaurant quality food on the top of the log burning stove. ||Even without electricity the house was still warm very comfortable and a relaxing environment. Well done Brook House we can highly recommend this beautiful B&B.

A beautiful B&B in a quiet little village near Ilminster. Great facilities, lovely spacious rooms and excellent breakfast (organic food, locally produced). Plus a very warm welcome from Becky, the owner - nothing was too much trouble and she was happy to provide gluten free food. A perfect place to stay if you want to be in the lovely South Somerset countryside, but not too far to get to beaches (half an hour's drive)

We have just finished a tour of Devon, staying at some top class hotels, but not one could touch the Brooke House for the most wonderful bed, bedroom and linen. Stunning! Becky is very warm and welcoming, as is Brook House!

Recently stayed at Brooke house for an overnight stay. Becky the owner/host made us feel very welcome, providing tea and homemade cake in front of the wood burner in the lounge area (cake was excellent by the way😉).||The accommodation is very well appointed with a large bedroom overlooking the beautiful garden and Perry’s cider orchards beyond, the decor is modern and clean but with a chic feel, the bathroom was huge with a large deep bath, perfect after a days walking.||Breakfast the next morning was very good too, using local ingredients and homemade preserves and granola, the cooked option was very good too.||||Many thanks for a lovely stay!

We arrived after a long drive and afternoon at a University open day, to a lovely welcome of tea and cake and a wonderful room, just perfect.||||We loved the beds with the gorgeous white sheets, the sofa that you could sit and watch the beautiful garden from and the deep bath to relax in.||||The little details like fresh milk for tea in the morning, dogs to make friends with and a host who couldn't do enough for you were really appreciated!||||That night we walked to the village pub for gammon & chips, and woke up to home made granola, fresh coffee and breakfast made for us. ||||A beautiful part of the country and a lovely place to stay - thankyou so much!
