We discovered Cantina Rosita on our first visit to Petersfield after seeing their sign near the market which said they were dog friendly. A very friendly welcome and delicious food. They are tucked out of the way and we almost gave up looking but we are so glad we found them. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Cantina Rosita’s is an excellent lunch place serving cuisine from Latin America. Overall, we enjoyed the food, and they are open to accommodating allergies or preferences because they cook to order.
I would recommend booking, especially if there are more than 4 of you as it's quite a small place.

Had a fantastic lunch of enchiladas both meat and veggie, beautifully prepared and cooked in a great environment with helpful, attentive and friendly staff.

Will be going back again to try the Arepas as they looked delicious too

We had coffees and lunch here today. The friendly staff create a very welcoming atmosphere. You feel that they're interested in you. Imaginative meals, beautifully cooked. We also had a slice of their delicious, home baked cake, Torta de Santiago, which was moist, not sickly sweet. Thanks to all the staff there for your efforts.

We turned up with no booking with a group of 11 of us and we were very welcomed! We were helped to move around some tables outside to fit us in and considering there was such a big group of us, the food came promptly and it tasted so good!! Amazing service 🙂

Really lovely cafe/restaurant. The food and cake is gorgeous. Delicious quality coffee too. The owner/chef and all the team are very friendly. Such a hidden gem in Petersfield. You’d never find it if you didn’t know it was there. Some lovely shops around it too. Breakfast and lunch. Not open in the evenings.

I was on my way to the vet a couple of doors down when I first walked past this cantina. The smell of fresh, tasty food, when they'd not long been open, was so good that I decided to pop in after the vet, and I'm really glad I did 😀

I had the pan-fried mackerel with Latin rice and salsa Verde, and it was excellent 👌

I spoke to the chef, and she told me that everything is made on the premises, even the jam, that's made in small batches 😀

I don't live in Petersfield, so now I'm going to have to find more reasons to go there!
