Customer for life lost due to your policies with Yodel.

I've been shopping here almost daily and collecting parcels via the Click and Collect service for 3 years.

Today I attempted to collect a parcel to which I was refused for not having a specific code.

I provided my full name, showed identification, even asked the sender to forward me all the information I had which included the original postage label print file with numerous unique codes.

The member of staff working here explained that they are unable to let me have it without an additional code that neither me the recipient or the sender had access to. The reason being is they do not get their pennies in commission for handling the parcel.

After a number of phone calls, messages and emails to the sender, they contacted Yodel and a code was finally given. Upon presenting them with the code the member of staff had the audacity to ask for me to show ID to prove I was the person labelled on the parcel.

Now myself, partner, family, friends and large community of boat users on the Broads will avoid this shop altogether.

Well done team. Hope the 50p commission was worth it. 🙂

I have given this store a 5 star rating and it's for the staff behind the tills, but not for the person who thought it was a great idea to have self service tills. I can only hope the customer doesn't have to pick up the bill for people stealing at these tills. Like walking out with goods before the card payment has gone through, clearly its happening!

Really like this local coop store. Great staff and usually good availability of stock. Not sold on the self serve tills especially the location. There isnt a lot of space when the cashier is on the nearest till and people seem to use them to put their items while they await being served by staff so then cant be used anyway.

Been in a few times on my way to and from work. Car park is very useful, staff are all very pleasant and they have quite a wide range of stock for a smallish shop. Also do some good deals on cases of beer!

I don't know how this Coop stores their milk but it is constantly not fresh.

My daughter bought 2 bottles of Cravendale milk there today, (I always get milk from other Coop because they have had this problem for a long time), it has obviously not been kept refrigerated properly and has almost gone off.

Also only has 3 days sell-by left, what have they done with it for the last couple of weeks? Though even milk with a long sell-by date normally has same problems from this store and often is only fit to be poured down the sink!

Otherwise a good shop but their deliveries team definitely need some proper training on handling new stock (I assume it is not the drivers fault as other Coop does not have this problem).
