In the land where middle class range rover drivers hoon about and then dump their financed vehicles in the carpark with the accuracy of a blind dyspraxic walrus, Co-op fuels them all.

It's actually a significant improvement upon the old co-op and while they're obviously scalping on prices, it's a convenient store.

I've found the staff to be pleasant and helpful and the store clean.

A decent sized shop with a wide range of items. Plenty of parking and pleasant staff

*Edit March 2025:
Just been into the store again for the first time in a while and they no longer take the regular Co-Op loyalty card which gives you personalised offers. It's now a different scheme which is unnecessarily more complicated as you won't know which Co-Ops offer what, it's ANOTHER account that you have to sign up for and give your personal info as well as having to pay a quid to sign up for (granted it's not a huge amount but why are customers having to pay to have their data harvested in this day and age?).

The member of staff that was on our till also needs some form of motivation as she couldn't have been any less interested in her job or serving us.

I'm not going to be in a rush to return here and my review has now been changed from 5 stars to 3! Disappointing

Have just signed up for Co-op membership and paid my £1 membership fee (refunded on first purchase I think). The 2nd Marston store is bigger than many especially for a ‘village’ store which already has one, but has good parking and is light, airy and clean. I went for milk and Walkers crisps. Milk (4 pints), I noted that it was £1.85 but being a ‘member’ I could have it at a discounted price of £1.45 … coincidentally the ‘normal’ price just down the road at M&S. Crisps (6 pack) at £2.25… heck my local Sainsbury’s can do a lot better than that. My first visit hasn’t been encouraging … perhaps I’ll give it a little more time to get used to their pricing, but not immediately impressed with their ‘loyalty’ scheme.

Went in today, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The shop was very well stocked with everything I needed. I was served by a man called Toby I think it was who was very helpful and we had a good chat. Very enthusiastic about his job. Love this shop
