The co op is actually racist I've lived around the area for a while and it's not just me every person that is pakistani and goes in there they will look down at u for example they are a registered pay point I went there after 2 years because we would feel uncomfortable going in they actually told me that they could not deposit my money due to there being a crash I sent in a friend who was white straight afterwards who they never mentioned anything about the system crashing if you check in the area no one with race actually goes to the co op they have selective customers if you check every review you will not find a single comment by someone with race worst is that they judge people the way they dress which is disgraceful to be honest these are the kind of people we need to write about it's pure disgusting there's Radley saver and costcutter but only selective people enter co op and god forbid u look rough they won't open the door to u

Staff were amazing. I went in with my service dog and was having a medical fit my dog alerted me. And the staff Kelly was amazing and helped me and made sure I was safe. The only thing I am angry at is I tried to ring customer support to give me feed back in how amazing the staff where to be told oh they doing there job and then put the phone down on me. Customer service you need to get ur act together and actually eknowledge when your stores do amazing.

I entered this shop approx 8 weeks ago and was discriminated against. Caroline and her two staff followed me around the shop for a while until i asked them if everything is ok.

I was told i had 'previous' - I asked them what that meant, I was told for stealing. This left me in distress and lead to me have several panic attacks. All three staff were shouting at me in front of customers, I had one memeber of staff right next to me and one at both ends of the end of the isle. This was unprofessional also Bullying! I tried to reason with them, at a low tone but they still insisted that it was me. The staff were acting like CID !! I offered to show I'D, but this wasn't enough!

It's easy to discriminate, just remember the effects it can have. I understand people ge things wrong, however the three staff members were bullys and insisted it was me.

I sent a formal complaint to co-op foods complaint team regarding my experience and was advised the only thing they can do is have word. Apparently theres nothing else they can do.

I have never stolen anything. I am a hard working professional. Co-op you should support your customers.

I am currently looking into legal advice as i wouldn't want other innocent customers to have to go through what i have.

I had a voucher for 1 pound off expiring today otherwise I would not very often shop here. The assistant said I was a few pence short of a qualifying spend and suggested I pick up a chocolate bar or something. I turned round to get ( actually some hot cross buns). She then said I was £3 short of a qualifying spend because one of my items was a card, and not included in the offer. By now I had people queing behind me and felt flustered. I said to just leave it but then was told that I had taken back the money I had paid over for the goods. I know I had not, but could not prove it. The voucher was still there on the counter but not the money. I am gutted and really can't afford to lose £20. I will NEVER shop there again.

Tried to scan parcel for yodel today. I asked the staff if they knew why the internet wouldn’t download. Very flippant, ‘who know’s the internet is rubbish’ very helpful! While one member of staff complaining they’d been there since 7am. This was 2pm. If you don’t like the hours, take your miserable self home. Sunday

Some of the staff are rude especially the 1 the one serving on Saturday morning. the manger short blonde hair has an absolutely disgusting attitude never smiles no thank you etc I'm a regular at the shop she doesn't
talk to Asian but is fine with the white customers she needs to be sent for customers services training and observing you wont get response if you give negative reviews
