I go into this shop everyday to buy essentials for work. They are always kind and friendly to me. Sometimes they give me the occasional discount. The lady in a morning is always really friendly to me and always says hello

So happy I live near Chapel convenient store, it has everything you’d ever need plus lots you don’t. If you want buldak noodles or a flavour of AU you’ve never heard of at 3 am or eggs and one of the array of milka they have to offer at 8 am- you are sorted. I love a wee shop and it is actually the king of the wee shops.

Local business owner, the best store in the area. Friendliest staff & owners. I visit 2x per day and actively go out of my way to return here. They look after myself and my staff day in day out

Everyone is so lovely in this store especially Anmol! I accidentally left my phone in the store and she returned it with no hesitation I’m ever so grateful! Plus she’s always very nice any time I visit

The shop is very convenient because it opens at 7 am and closes at 3 am, which means that it’s perfect for when you need to get a few things late at night/early in the morning. I love their snack section because it has US export products such as hot Cheetos and different varieties of chocolate that you wouldn’t necessarily find in normal super markets. Anmol, the lady that works during the day is very nice and welcoming every time I pop into the store. She’s very friendly and always asks me how I am, which is something admirable from someone who is constantly interacting with customers throughout the day. The other workers during the night are nice as well. I think some of the other reviewers need to consider that the workers are human as well, and you can’t expect them to live up to your standards of the “perfect worker”. Sometimes people can have bad days and that’s normal. It’s a convenience store at the end of the day, just buy whatever you need and let them check you out. There’s no need to deep it.

I don’t recommend. The shop is quite expensive comparing to tesco across the road, but I used to go there a lot with my tiny dog to buy cigarettes, male employees were always nice and helpful. But then they hired this rude female, that is always on the phone while serving customers, today she said the shop was no longer dog friendly and didn’t let me in. There was no other customers in the shop.. didn’t explain why suddenly they Don’t like dogs, no sign whatsoever.. not going there anymore.

A proper local shop that's open until 3am. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. Range is surprisingly comprehensive given the size of the unit. The place is always clean and merchandised well.

Been here twice recently and both times I've had an extra 50p added without them saying anything and no signs. This is because this was made illegal in January 2018. So for over 5 years they have been illegally taking an extra 50p from each transaction. Being based near a busy city centre I can only imagine the amount they've stolen from customers over the years. Will never return here
