Checked online stock prior to visit. Beautiful shop. Really good quality shoes and so much choice. Young man assisting was helpful and polite. Saved so much time avoiding the fashion chain store options. I have absolutely fabulous new boots. I definitely recommend this store and will be a returning customer.

Great service from the lovely new lady at Charles Clinkark Ilkley, stayed with me the whole time and asked regarding my needs then went through a range to products to tailor to my needs including suitable insoles to help with my plantar fasciitis, as I'm on my feet all day at the hospital. She helped me decide on the perfect pair of Bugatti shoes. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get her name, but thank you for the lovely, warm experience I had.

Received call from shop to say shoes arrived. Went to shop but wrong shoes had been sent to shop.
A call next day confirmed my purchase had arrived Picked up shoes
Staff at shop really good. Wrong shoes replaced within a day.
Everyone can make a mistake it is how you deal with the situation that matters.

On being served I asked for a size and similar in a shoe and as the staff member walked past two able bodied women, one started discussing a shoe and her debate re buying them…at the time the staff member had my shoe in hand…then the customer asked for her to hold her shoe in order for her to take a photo of the label…she could have done this herself or her friend helped…while people are self absorbed, the assistant should have explained long before this point she was busy, but she didn’t…after watching this play out I left not spending..:lesson to learn hear prioritise!!!! Have staff no idea here 🤗

My wife came here for a job interview several months ago and they did not even have the decency to let her know she had not got the job. Very poor! I definitely will not be shopping here.

In the past, I have had some truly awful customer service experiences in this branch. However, this week I was served by Debbie, and things were different. She gave unfussy, good service. Obtaining me some sandals from another branch. Couldn’t ask for more. More Debbies required here.

My daughter and I came into Charles Clinkard today looking for boots. Unfortunately the lady who attended to us was very unhelpful and incredibly unfriendly. My daughter tried a few on but got absolutely no help or encouragement from this sales assistant. She just stood there unsmiling waiting for us to finish. I was so surprised as my mother has used this shop for years and has never been treated the way we were today. Sadly none of us will return which is such a shame as it’s a lovely shop.
