Yes, occasionally it is busier and the wait is longer. The fish is always fantastic, great portion sizes of chips and so many options. So lucky to have this option within walking distance.

RIP OFF *****This is large cod and chips absolutely disgusting ends of chips and quarter of a scoop of chips I spent £33 the other two were just about satisfactory ****do not go there **
* RIP OFF * the children had about 8 chips each !

Delicious fish and chips. The batter on the fish was very crispy, while the fish itself was flakey. The portion for a large chips was enough to feed two people. £16.80 for two regular cods (both of which seemed large!) and a large portion of chips (so £8.40 per person).

I came at 6pm on a Friday and the service was very quick. I look forward to going back!

Refused us service and were quite hostile (💀💀💀) unless we made cash payment, despite saying that they have a card machine and that they should accept all cards except Amex (🛩). Food was not prepared fresh and was clearly sat there for a while [⏰️⏳️] before we arrived. Food was ok in the end after a long wait, but I would recommend just going on an app to order from somewhere else or going to another place if possible.

Great village chippy. Regular cod is huge and very tasty. Plenty of chips , friendly atmosphere , staff cheerful. Pizza,s are really yummy. Good prices

Popped in for some food after being recommended by friends, but have to say I won't be returning, chicken was very dry, tough and the coating was very soggy the chips where the same. The gentleman behind the fryer was ok with me but was rude to the lady on the till. I've worked in retail 25 plus years and learnt very quickly that you should treat your staff how you wish to be treated, shame the gentleman doesn't treat his staff with respect.
