Good open playing field next to the local school - several football pitches often with local teams playing matches. Car park but it does get busy. Whites windmill Cafe serving hot/cold drinks & some hot food eg breakfasts & baps, sandwiches, snacks also homemade cakes. Indoor seating & toilets. Next to the playing field they are rebuilding an old windmill that is open to the public 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month to have a look round & talk to the volunteers rebuilding it was free entry to look inside it’s small so doesn’t take long & involves steep stairs but very interesting & the volunteers have done a lot of woodworking involved in the rebuilding.
