It was the first time I’d been in the post office since Victoria Avenue closed.
The lady working on the post office counter was very polite and helpful but the man working on the till at the entrance to the shop was just plain ignorant. If you don’t like customers don’t work with them!

Just been to this post office in my lunch hour and so annoyed at the Service today! On entering the shop, I realised there was a queue at the actual post office part of the shop, I then turned around to look at the overflow post office counter near the entrance to the shop and there was only one person being served. I then walked towards it and was abruptly told the post office “was over there!”
When I finally got served 15 minutes later by the lovely lady who was run off the feet, I turned away from the counter, only to see two men been served at the post office counter, where I was refused service at. Would love to know why he can serve two men and tell Me to join the other queue. I didn’t even have to pay for my parcel I only had to hand it over. Complete sexist jobsworth!

I was here today 14/03to send the package around 3:00 p.m. The lady with the glasses served me very nicely and quickly, to my great satisfaction.

Place used to be great, welcoming and friendly. Now the new owners have turned this place upside down:
• The main cashier is always on his phone even when scanning things. I’ve waited many minutes just for him to stop swiping on his phone just for him to scan something.
Additionally, This man is so adamant to return to a call with his wife that often he won't scan items or give correct change.
• The post office section is a mess and queues are huge. Often people in the back of the queue get priority whilst others are stood waiting for ages.

In other words, this place fell off and is now just like any other terribly managed corner shop. Please stop going here.

The woman on the post office counter has been rude and unhelpful a few times. Last time I went in the post office counter was closed (should have been open 15 minutes earlier) I asked " when are you open " ? Her rude response was " when I'm ready "
I mean seriously? Learn some manners.

Friendly staff and good selection of envelopes if you need them. Front of shop doubles up as a small convenience store. Parking on road outside or adjacent side street.

Go up
