I recently visited the Converse Outlet in Wembley and purchased a pair of shoes along with some T-shirts. Before buying, I asked if there was any strict return policy, just to be safe, and was assured by the staff that returns would be possible. Confident in their answer, I went ahead with my purchase.

When I got home, I tried the shoes with a few outfits, only to find they didn’t match as well as I’d hoped. So, I returned to the store to process a return. However, the staff refused, saying there was "dust" on the back of the shoes and claiming this meant they were “used.” I explained it was just carpet dust from trying them on at home, but they were inflexible, insisting the shoes couldn’t be returned.

The experience was frustrating, especially after being told that returns would be accepted. I’d recommend being 100% sure about any purchase here, as the return policy seems a lot stricter than they first let on.

Few months ago when I went to this store the staff were helpful and attended to the requests. I was so grateful to a young Indian girl who checked instore to find me the right size.
Owing to the fact that the shoes were amazing and the experience was splendid previously. Yesterday I went in to buy shoes for my nephews and we left with with an awful experience(the only saving grace was the person who served us on the tills) Staff who were supposed to help instead were standing there chit chatting and werent even bothered to ask if we needed any help while we were looking through different sizes. Worse was when they ignored and looked past us when we wanted to walk past them. I understand you want to have some banter but MANNERS in retail industry..... 🤦🏽‍♂️

I always seem to get something when I get into the Converse store. They do have real bargains if you're not afraid of wacky footwear, but they also have good deals on their regular stock. It is worthwhile trying the shoes on as UK sizes aren't the most prominent sizes on the label.

Ordered a pair of high tops and never received them! Waited two weeks before contacting converse who said there was a technical issue and gave me a refund. I reordered the shoes and the same thing happened! This time, I had an email to say they were with the courier but, then a week later, another email to say they had been lost.

Ive had a look at other reviews and this seems to be a common theme! Its like they never actually send the shoes out!
