So nice to come back to Durham from Australia for Xmas and see my favourite old Coop in Brandon is still up and running when other businesses have gone.
This store used to be so handy after school popping in and being able to get anything you needed without going in to Durham.
There's a good selection of everything including fresh and frozen, cards and magazines with the Post Office now operating from this location.
The lady on one of the registers Pauline was so friendly and made us feel very welcome with a quick chat about life in Australia. Thankyou Pauline. When I went home I told my sister and she said Pauline has been working there for years and always been so chirpy and friendly. So managers give Pauline a pat on the back, she

Quite a decent variety of goods on offer, there are a few goods that are quite pricy but it's probably the market price. The post office is a great help also in many departments, by withdrawing and depositing funds immediately into my bank account to delivering mail it has my stamp of approval

Good size Co-op stocking all your essential convenience goods without the need to jump on the bus to Durham. Post Office inside too. Friendly and helpful staff - I'm in there every day with my job. Good size car park too.

Reasonable sized local supermarket. Has some good offers. Sells newspapers and magazines as well as a selection of cards. Also has paypoint and lottery terminal. Good alcohol range. Often a queue to pay though staff friendly.
