Stood waiting for help at a self scan for ages so queue started to build and no one was on the shop floor except one young lad who did try to help by getting someone to assist with the self scan. To which a rude lady came out did two Uber deliveries and completely ignored me proceeding to walk away again until I then had to shout to them. The woman was again rude in saying I hadn’t said nothing when she went behind the desk even though I had tried but she was too busy chatting over the headset to listen. Other customers were also appalled by how rude and long the service was. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to wait ages there but it is the first time having the staff be so rude aswell. Not a good way to keep customers.

Big queue I’d recommend focusing on the in store customer rather than delivery partners

Walked into this shop and was instantly greeted with the most diabolical customer service I have ever experienced. The staff whisper underneath their breath absolutely disgusting remarks and barely work behind the till due to constant smoking breaks. One staff member, Lynn walks around grunting and giving customers dirty looks? Not very welcoming at all. also what’s the point in having a trolley outside the shop if it’s been locked since 2015. Not good enough.

Seen better employee’s there lately which is why this is 3 stars and not 1. There are never any bags at the self checkout anymore(for months) so I always have to ask at the til which leads me to where this becomes a much bigger issue. Theres never anyone on the bloody til. I’ve seen customers having to search/ shout across the store to get a staff member to slowly shuffle over after 5 or so minutes.
The food is overpriced for most things although the 95p washing up liquid and 40p beans keep me coming back. The food options for in the go are terrible, they used to have these indian wraps that could be eaten cold which were nice cold but they have stopped getting them there now so I wont eat anything in the wrap/sandwich/pasta section. It’s not exactly nice stuff. Seen better in other co ops.

Rude and intimidating staff member. Seem to think everyone stealing. She blocks the door not allowing people to exit. Before checking them. Very abuse manner she has. She not a security guard. I don't know why she feels the need to treat customers like that. Needs to be taught some customers service. Obviously she miss that when applying to work their. Will not be going in their anymore.

The store itself is excellent but I often find long queues and only 1 person on the till. I have sometimes had to wait a while as there is no-one on tills!! Would help if whoever is on the checkouts and they see a long queue forming that they use their initiative and ring for assistance. The store probably need more staff!
