Kronenburg 1664 prices are beyond a joke.
They wanted to charge me £13 odd pounds for two cans. No way. I walked out.

I have been using this local shop for about 3-4 years, of course because I have to. First of all, I don't need to tell you that it is an expensive place. because everyone knows this, although there are 4 tills in the shop, only one till is open and serves, every time I go I wait in line for 10-15 minutes. and I have never seen an employee smile.

Went there only 3 times... no eagerness to go more !

> Service :
Globally the staff is for the best : "unwelcoming" others : "rude", so need to be either re-trained or sacked !
(to the exceptiion to one trainee which was realy helpful)

> Quality :
Okish...
As an example if you are looking at pastries, you have better options around like Simmons or even the local Tesco for chocolate twists (they are same price and better !).

> Process :
Automatic machines are either partially closed (only 1 opened !) or not delivering receipts...
and on the top of : some products are NOT in the listing (appalling !!!) so you have to wait these ""friendly"" people to do their job after "questionning" you because you are buying "this" product...

Overall : to UPGRADE massively !!!
(should be 1 star but put 2 stars only for the welcoming & accurate response from the trainee)

One star being generous..the mature lady staff member with glasses is so rude..I can't believe that someone who's job is to serve the public has such a serious attitude problem. I went to her till said hello, no reply just a grumpy stare, when she did finally speak she mumbled give it here...total waste of space.

Typical medium sized coop, small car park on side that's free for customers, shelves well stocked but be careful, offers showing on shelf tickets do not always register on checkout scanner, after raising the issue with the checkout personnel they rectified the incorrect charge, but when questioned how they would ensure it wouldn't happen again, they shrugged their shoulders!

If you shop here you must check the prices at the till point as sometimes they don't match what is on the shelf. Apart from that. They hardly have any staff in there working that i can see. Maximum 2 members. I never have seen a manager working on the sales floor.

It's okay, i don't recommend for purchasing fruit or veg its either out of date or going of.. it is usually reduced by about 10p even though its the sell by date.
Since the update to the store layout, there is allot less down the freezer isle.
One other thing to watch out for is deals/offers as more often they're on display when it was a old offer and ifs expired.
