Some lovely staff, some not so. One in particular holds onto higher value items at the checkout as if she expects you to do a runner, despite the fact that you've been frequenting the store for years and are totally familiar to her. Makes you feel uncomfortable, like some kind of deviant. Stock items which sell out quickly are not replenished, often for weeks at a time. The constant presence of Big Issue sellers at the door is very off-putting. I've every sympathy with homeless people and regularly donate to various charities. That said, I once paid £5 for a copy outside of the store and now am generally accosted when they're present, which is pretty much each time I visit. It makes you feel as if you should pay each time you pass or you're somehow heartless.

Staff are always so rude in here, make you feel completely unwelcome and half the time ignore you're even in the shop or waiting for them.

Went in at lunchtime. Prices have gone up a lot. Some items I needed weren't there but that's. OK. Spoke to a lady staff member doing bakery items. Really nice

This place is like the tardis. It looks small compared to the co-op just across the road but don't be fooled this is a bigger store with more on offer. The prices are average, the food is good and you can always find a great deal in here. As someone who shops here regularly I would happily recommend you pop in to see what you can find. 4 stars only because the car park is at the rear and there is no access to the rear. You have to walk round if you drive or need a taxi.

Reasonable parking behind, the food I wanted was available and checkout process was reasonably quick and easy. It's a bit more pricey than I would like and they could be quicker to open up new tills when a queue forms, but it's very convenient.

Went in to get myself a snack and a drink this morning, self scanned, had my money ready, comes up that I need age verification for an energy drink. Fair enough.

I wait a good few minutes and nobody is available. No one approaches, and the only staff member I see is restocking the fruit and veg. She sees me, puts a finger to her headset, carries on. Still no assistants come to assist. Shouted "Does nobody work in here?" Still nothing. Cleaner buffing the floor ignores me. Abandoned my shopping and went a few doors along to Greggs.

Although I personally find Co-op shops to be expensive for my price range, it is the largest shop in terms of local places to pick up a few bits. For simple bread and milk there are cheaper options such as the Herons across the road. But they do stock higher quality food items which os great for those who want that more. It's location makes it a pop-in-on-the-way-home sort of area. The size of it also means that there are larger selections of items to buy. The staff I've encountered are all friendly amd helpful with inquires and general service. Including the managers.

Overall, a good shop if you don't mind the prices.

Great service, but there is one problem. Two days ago, I bought two milk bottles that were to be expired on 21/11/2020, baring in mind that I had bought it on the 19/11/2020, it had floating white bits inside. I opened my Milk bottles and both of them were in date but smelled out of date and looked out of date. I am utterly disgusted by this, but, the workers are very indeed kind.
