Staff and security are extremely racist and aggressive. they got up in my girlfriend and her sons face accusing us of stealing they surrounded her and her child. i showed them receipts and they still were being aggressive towards her.

As a regular old customer, I'm telling you to avoid this place.
- They do not pay attention to personal data, staff team talking to other customers behind customers' backs
- They don't need proof, if you are not local, you will be subjected to eye harassment when shopping
- Employees laugh loudly behind your back and make fun of you
- There are no baskets in the store, there is no order, even if you buy a basket because it is empty, it contains the staff's belongings
- The products in the cupboards are broken and not checked, I know that the whole cupboard has been emptied
- While other customers order you to put the basket here, do this and that, the staff follow you just because you are new.
- They do not know which product is alcoholic, even if you know, they lie to you because of ego problems
- If you have a mind, don't be disgraced with your money, some of the staff make deliberate movements for this

Very grubby store. Few staff available at most times. Bought eggs today that had a display until date of 18th October (already passed) and use by date of 25th October! (Only noticed once i got home and i can't be bothered to drive back to exchange or refund)
Have in the past bought chicken that was still in date but was definitely off and stank when packaging opened.
I don't know what they do with stock control or how they store food before it goes on shelves but there seems to be a serious problem at this particular Coop. I shoukd learn from my previous experience and avoid.

This shop has really gone downhill over the last year or so. The shelves seem to always be empty all the time - a few times I have actually left without purchasing anything as there was nothing there! They also never seem to have anyone on the tills so you are constantly waiting to be served. Also although some of the staff are very good there are one or two that don't seem to care providing absolutely no customer service and more interested in looking at their phones. Poor.

I do love this Co-op. The staff are usually nice and friendly which is essential for a local store.

I cannot understand why the reductions on tools and cakes have been stopped. I gather this is nationwide.

Secondly, also I gather is nationwide is the fact that you can buy bananas that would be thrown in the bin in an hour as they close, but they are not allowed to drop the price as they do on groceries.

Not the fault of the staff I know but annoying all the same.

Again I do give this shop a pretty good rating.

Perhaps we have been spoilt because we had a fantastic community based manager, who worked with other local retail to make Goffs Oak special.

Tonight I found out that the bakery items were not discounted as usual. A Bakewell tart was 69 pence and despite being end of weekend.

I mentioned to the serving staff and was told there was a change of policy and now not discounted. Disappointing.

I I asked that my dissatisfaction be relayed to the manager. This i was led to believe was not an option. I was informed managers work on a different level. i was informed my feedback was not going to be relayed as a member of staff was only there 'to serve customers'. where is the customer service here and now can the service get better if the senior staff refuse to listen.

Usually a lovely store with friendly staff until recently. I Was served this afternoon (Friday 7th of may) by a young woman behind the till. Her attitude was unwelcoming and she showed no customer service skills whatsoever. Such a shame!
