Hugely overpriced on some products but the bigger problem is customer service and the inability of staff to act or do anything to rectify and issue. After my most recent experience in-store I have come to the realisation that either

Head office do not trust their staff to rectify issues as I was told to call them for a 50p error on my bill that the staff member (who looked like they may well have been a supervisor given the attitude) could not sort out

Or

The staff member is lying about what they can or can't do because they can't be bothered

Or

The staff member involved is just inept

Either way, it is not a good look Co-op!

On the slightly better side, they do stock some good products that you can't get elsewhere in Lampeter...hence the two stars!

This store is fantastic tho some aisles seem empty. Bought some nice milk and bread there. They don't sell single can beers, and I wanted it. Aberystwyth stores had single can beers 🍻. CK in Penglais, for example, does.

Very pleasant staff member at kiosk this morning. The range of stock in this store is very good and displayed well in the nice clean glass doomed fridges. Like this store and parking is easy(except when heavy rain inevitably causes flooding)

Would strongly recommend avoiding this store the store its self is filthy inside and out. manager is a stuck up so and so follows people around the store and has staff searched for no reason there was a glitch in there system which coursed our payment to go pending for a week they said it was our fault and didn't care threatening to call the police if we didn't leave since then the higher ups have informed us that it was infact the stores fault...but they are still not willing to do anything about it as they dont care. Worse thing is my partner who currently has a medical condition coursing her alot of pain decided it was to much and she needed to sit down. And i had to carry her out of the store we could see and hear the team leader laughing and cracking jokes about it. WORST SHOP IN LAMPETER

In general it's well stocked but I would suggest that it be used more for random bits or picnic food that you might need on short notice rather than regular weekly shopping. The car park has lots of space but is prone to flooding, though not particularly deeply, if you've got a good car and some wellies you'll be fine.
