I love the co-op, but I've noticed that some co-ops sell different products, and not all co-ops are the same. Mapplewell co op is one of the better ones on par with the Dodworth one. Mapplewell stocks a nice range of fresh and baked produce, and you can purchase most of your grocery items here. Co-op stores have always sold good quality stock and are a long-standing company and have been operating for years. I sometimes call in Mapplewell co-op as have good choice and quieter than the bigger supermarkets and the staff are friendly, polite and have good product knowledge.

Brilliant in every way except the prices but that's not the staff fault. But their offers on the app aren't worth it when you've got Lidl down the road. But it's not a bad store. Always get what we need.

Only use this place as a last resort.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff, slow service and then made to feel rushed when at the till.

Several times I have overheard customers complaining about the attitude of staff, slow service and that once they are in the shop they feel "irritated" and I have to agree.

Getting the attention of staff when you trying to locate an item can be a painful experience too - staff will finish their non work related conversation first before dealing with a waiting customer.

There is a young (im guessing he's in his 20's) male member of staff that seems to work on the cigarette kiosk; he's by far the friendliest and most helpful member. He's always smiling and making small conversations with every customer he deals with.

Excellent, local shop. It is perfect for bits and pieces, and has an Amazon locker along with many other useful features and utilities which come in handy so often. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the new design, whilst somewhat disorientating for long-time patrons, is convenient with the self-service checkouts which are a great, welcome addition!

My favourite Co-op in the local area. Staff are friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and well stocked. As with all Co-ops it is a bit expensive so I wouldn't do a weekly shop here but it's great for nipping in and getting the odd few things mid week. A point knocked off for the self service tills. Slow and need staff interaction for the slightest thing....annoying!

Although its one of the small co-op stores I find it to be one of the better ones usually fully stocked and having items you cant get in their other stores. Like most co-ops its sometimes difficult to get served as they have one staff at the front. Overall though a good shop.

This is the best co-op i have been to in my life. Growing up in the area would be a good reason but no it's something else the place has everything frozen meat fruit/fresh fruit washing up liquied magazines newspapers and deserts. But if you have you children there. There is no toys only in the children magazines. I don't know but i have a good feeling there the staff are friend its quick its just a good place. Visit there whenever you need.
