Think they need more staff… had to wait nearly 10 minutes at the self service till waiting for an ‘assistant’ to come… nobody at the till or anywhere to be seen on the shop floor… kept looking at a member of staff at the end of the isle I was near but they didn’t seem interested in helping me, there was two other people waiting aswell could have quite easily walked out with my items as they clearly didn’t seem bothered about me paying. When someone did eventually come there was no apology for the wait.

Opening day at Co-op's newest convenience store near Hele Park.
It is actually located off Foxglove Close before Hele Park roundabout as you head west along Ashburton Road and is easily visible.
The store has a medium size car park with a parent & baby and accessible parking bays. An Amazon parcel collection point and a Free ATM / Cashpoint are located outside the store.
There are four self service and two manned tills, a fresh, ground coffee machine with fresh pastries.
Fresh produce, bakery and frozen sections complent the grocery aisles.
They sell newspapers and magazines along with Gift cards.
The aisles are quite narrow so when busy it will feel crowded but the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Typically Coop, a soft plastic recycling bin is available and their vegan range was very good.
There are three retail units adjoined to the store, one will soon be a vets and one is rumoured to become a fish and chip shop.

Trolleys strewn all over shop floor that you always have to dodge or move just to get round. Rubbish all over floor. Staff who couldn't care less about customer service and are generally rude and unhelpful.

I'm just writing this review while I wait for someone to come and ok my macaroni cheese as the scales don't recognise the weight, I would go to the till but know one is there, I can however see 2 people down the isle having a laugh and joke so I'll say goodbye and go and get someone before I starve waiting for the assistant, let's hope I can get out of the carpark as the it's absolutely heaving with traffic from people getting fish and chips nextdoor.

Two months after it opened I wonder how we managed with out it! Eagerly anticipated by the locals this store hasn't disappointed. A good sized well let free car park that is never full, a great range of produce and some decent bargains when items get close to there use by date. Friendly staff. It's the perfect top up shop, a little pricy for some items but very convenient. Good job Co op!

No staff at tills, no one comes to help when there's an issue at self service & some will walk past not acknowledging you while 3/4 self service tills are flashing red & need help. The shop is fine just the staff that needs improvements
