Perfect supermarket to grab either small items or for a nice big shop. They recently refurbished the place and it's now looking really slick and modern. Always great for a spot of lunch, especially something from the bakery. Never seem to have queues which is good. And I do recommend the jam donuts ! Just make sure you get enough to share.

Great co-op. Really close to the centre of Ryde, on bus routes and a big car park too.

Lots of food options, fresh bakery, electronics, seasonal foods and items. Store really well set out with wide aisles and easy to navigate around the store.

There is also a small cafe which was lovely. The seats and tables were well set out and comfy. Prices were reasonable; cost us about £6 for two teas and a large latte. Only negative was that there was only member of staff working in the cafe. This meant the queue was large and we waited for a long time to be served.

Nice size store ( newly referbished). Plenty of room between rows. Plenty of choices of food products as well as flowers, cards for occasions, magazines, papers etc. There is a spacious cafe, reasonable prices.
friendly staff throughout the store. There is a lift for anyone not able to use the elevator.
Toilets upstairs in the store. Lots of parking spaces.

All staff wore face guards, the aisles were arrowed in a one way system. The aisles were uncluttered and customers were wearing masks apart from one. It was a stress free shopping experience plus all their good choice of food. Lovely fresh fruit and veg. 10 out of 10, well done Co op .

I don't know the layout of Ryde Coop and needed help to find the £5 special deal items (2 x pizzas, 1 garlic bread, 1 oven chips and 1 KitKat ice-cream. I got the best help from a cashier; I should've noted her name. She was the cashier furthest away from the entrance (in case management read this). She was friendly, helpful and lovely. Aha! The receipt says her name is Audrey. Thank you Audrey ☺️

During my visit a customer had selected a made a coffee using the machine in the store. Unfortunately the lid didnt stay on and the coffee spilt. Remember this is hot scalding coffee I am not sure at this point if they selected another coffee but the customer was rather annoyed with the lid. They had another shopping but they didn't have a basket. They got very loud shouting and swearing. When they got to the count the lid came off again and this upset the customer staff camping tuning with clothes and paper towels to help clean up but the customer got rather loud and started to slam the coffee cup on the till make a huge mess then screaming and swearing at the staff who was trying to help
Now I understand why the customer was annoyed. I can understand how dangerous a scalding coffee in a dodgy cheap cup . But these supermarket staff DO NOT DESERVE OUR FRUSTRATIONS, OUR WORDS OF ANGRY, OUR ABUSE. REMEMBER THESE ANGELS ARE WORKING WITH ENORMOUS RISK AND ALL TO ENSURE WE HAVE FOOD ON OUR TABLES.
As for the store is great since refit. The back by the frozen needs some sort of revamp but otherwise nice modern, offering food that other local stores dont offer. It's not confusing like other places. I wish the card selection was better as I'd rather buy from them than stores with 100s of hands touching cards.

Looks a lot better now that it has had a make over as it was long overdue. The cafe area is much better with comfortable furniture to sit on which is
Good whilst you're instore, but much of the products do remain a little expensive.

Normally have no problem here but bought Gressingham duck, on its use by date. Opened it and the smell was overwhelming like rotten meat. Very soon after a swarm of flies appeared. The smell was so bad the neighbours smelt it out in the street, in their gardens and flies invaded houses on either side. I know this sounds unbelievable but this is how bad the meat was. We thought the flies had appeared because of the weather change but as soon as we disposed of meat and packaging and lit some candles the flies disappeared.
