Used the Justeat delivery service. Arrived on time and driver very friendly. Unfortunately for the second time an item was missing. And to make it worse just eat will not refund £2 as I have made too many claims one being this same shop. I will now use deliveroo and Uber eats. I understand the staff are very busy here so do understand but posted this as a warning to be careful using Justeats as they tend to think you are lying for £2!!! And that's to a customer who has used them for over 4 years with no issues just be careful as if you have a problem they will not help

Lovely service this evening when I called to speak to a gentleman to confirm my grocery order. Courteous, kind and helpful and made sure I got what I needed.

The store is constantly closed, with the most vague reasons not letting the customer know when it will be re-opened. What does re-opening ‘soon’ mean in the next hour or 5 days. There is no regard for the customers time. Martins was far better hope something like it comes back.

I normally don’t give reviews, but I felt I must bring this to co-op management. I live locally. I went to the shop at 21:05 tonight. I received worse customer service. I never saw that boy working in the store before (may be a new joiner or a temporary worker). His customer service was absolutely awful. The way he took money and giving back the change and the way he served made me feel disgraced. I have no clue if the co op customer service standards are dropped down or was he being a racist….

The 'Big VISA black out' hit the Shenfield Co-Op today along with all other VISA-enabled vendors in the village. However, the very efficient and well switched-on Co-Op store manager Kevin immediately went on the tills to be front and centre to his customers explaining the wide-spread non-coop specific issue and prioritised those with cash to clear the queue whilst trying solutions for those only with a card. I had a full basket when I reached a till point and asked if 'Apple Pay' was affected. Kevin suggested trying one item from my basket as a test and it worked.... I managed to get almost all of my groceries payed for by that means before the system caught up with the fact that my linked card was a VISA! The very helpful young lady at the till offered to look after my purchases until I ran to an ATM to get the cash to complete my shop. Well done Kevin & the CO-Op Shenfield staff - who are all awesome! ... 'above and beyond' is the norm for this Co-Op store.....

Visited the store this morning had a problem with the self check out totally ingored by the sales asistance who was having a conversation with a customer had to walk over after sevral minutes to get her attention she then said she had sorted the problem then carried on with her conversation the issue had not been cleared when I querried the receipt I was told the reason she could not come over to sort my problem was the customer she was talking too had relations in Ukraine.
