The shop is expensive. There is an older grey haired woman staff member who is always miserable and seems annoyed if you are ask for anything and is often rude. Shame as the store is convenient and has good opening times.

It is familiar in a someone's post - a woman who works in the evening regularly gives a dirty look to a customer if he/she asks her anything. I experienced the same. Two young lads in pm/evening shift never say thank you to the customer who pays the money when the customer (me) says thank you to the staff. AM shift staff seems better. However, yesterday, a different young lad at the till in the evening put my items in a bag for me and actually said thank you. I was shocked for something quite normal in normal shops. Well done! Please keep going that way, young lad!

Staff rude and couldn't be asked to deal with customers also found out one of the only members of staff who was nice and helpful every time was fired because he gave the wrong change to someone even tho the evil huge manager who is rude and steals food and cigarettes to go and eat and smoke in the toilets gets to do what she wants when she wants fed up of her horrible attitude to everyone in the store and the dirty looks she gives people when they ask anything at all. I know alot of people who don't go in there anymore because on that one single nasty woman snd the other small one who ids everyone even after showing id. The co op is meant to strive for excellent customer service and respect its customers but all I see is staff talking about their Fridays and rude managers stealing 👎

Nice staff. Small store. Tiny trolleys. The self service tills are beyond ridiculous. You have to scan, then in slow motion wait for the beep. The staff behind the other tills have to multitask whilst serving customers to sort out any problems the self servers have. Very unfair on all the staff and customers. You often see abandoned half full baskets at the side. Regardless, the staff are always lovely with a smile on their faces despite this. The Coop should definitely find a solution urgently in my opinion. The three stars is in no reflection based on the staff, just the ridiculously simple easy to fix problem they, also all of us customers have to put up with. Also, their frozen meal deals are nearly always missing at least 2 of the required items. So frustrating, also an ongoing problem, which means Joe Public have to miss out on a bargain!!!

This shop is a shocking.
Self checkout tills never working unless you ask a member of staff to reset them.
No items on the shelf yet above the shelf the items are there.
Worst run shop i have ever seen in my life the place is a joke especialy to everyone that works there. If you want somthing from a convience store better go elsewhere as you will waste your time here.

First time in the co-op for ages in Waltham abbey and I hate the new layout who come with the bright idea to go downwards not a crosswords the drinks always where you get refreshment they've squeezed too close together and it's so narrow you wouldn't be able to get a wheelchair and a buggy together the layout plans was useless when they refitted the store and why his sun Street entrance closed you have to walk right away to the backdoor this days I understand in lockdown even then it should been open one way in and one way out nope both ways put the back someone had the brains to lock the doors management needs to look at why these doors are still locked
