More expensive than the big 6 supermarkets but much more convenient to shop in and customer service has been good 99% of the time I have used it.
Normally pretty well stocked regardless of the time of day.

Free (if limited) parking, assuming you don't mind the idiot van drivers who just decide to leave their vehicle anywhere whilst they shop.

Has an ATM that often doesn't work (I realise this is outside the shop's remit but it is their bank.. lol.... )

Bottom line it is a useful shop to have for a small shop within walking distance of home (if the weather is right).

#Use it or lose it.

Quite well-stocked little store. Convenient location. However, they don't have self-service checkouts, so you have to wait to be served. I wouldn't mind but some of the staff there have shocking customer service skills. If you're serving a customer, you shouldn't be chatting to your colleagues at the same time through your headset.

Very rarely doesn't have the things I want. Good selection of olives and prociutto. Wish Co-ops had spring cabbage on a regular basis. Otherwise, very good. Nice bread, too.

The Cooperative Food at Woolstanwood is my local store. Until recently the staff had been mostly long term (it appeared) individuals in the store that gave good service and communicated well with customers. Lately a number of new faces have appeared on the team that don't seem engaged with customers. On the positive side availability of product and quality of fresh produce is excellent. Wearing face masks makes customer care harder for the team I understand; but all the more reason for a hello, good bye, thankyou etc.

UPDATE

I have to say that in recent weeks customer service has significantly improved with good interaction coming from the store team.

Only been in 3 times, they have a delivery every Saturday by the looks of it, they have cages on the shop floor which if some one was in a wheelchair it would be hard to get around, on a plus side they do a really good offer on the frozen meal deal which I bought.

On a recent visit to this store in the evening, I was the only person out of about 20 customers wearing a face mask. When challenged, staff noted that people could have medical conditions. While that is fair, it is exceedingly unlikely and is just apathy or defiance by customers.
Is this an isolated occasion? No, my daughter has since visited, and experienced the same scenario.

My mum's local shop and it is still a co-op not a McColls therefore it is still well stocked and is reasonably priced as opposed to a poor Range and everything costing the Earth in the McColls also the co-op still sell pipe tobacco where has now it is because they do not inconvenient from a convenience store big up the Co-op for being a co-op carrying on the traditions that it was built upon serving the community and another big up to the chippy next door fat fish and chips

Standard convenience store with most of the essentials and ample parking. It also has an Amazon Locker and a shoe recycling bin around the side.
