The train station was splendid! All the original pieces of the building were kept active and great condition including the rituals..

It's like stepping back in time from the moment you enter the railway station! It takes about 20 minutes to get from Corfe Castle to Swanage. We then spent 20 minutes walking up and down the platform, watching them switch the engine, before getting back on and travelling the 20 minutes back to Corfe Castle. It's a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

Lovely staff and a fun way to avoid traffic. Be warned, on a hot day the train carriages are mini saunas!

I passed through this station on the way from and back to Norden. You could conceivably use this to visit the castle although it is a bit of a walk. The station appears very well maintained and picturesque. It has one of the railway's signal boxes present and you can, as you head north, get good views of Corfe Castle from the train.

Unfortunately the rail line is running with out the steam train engine (due to the high possibility of fire) The half dozen staff in the station and on the train, in their uniforms weren’t put out by this and looked very enthusiastic about the whole thing. Making the trip fun and enjoyable. A very quaint station and a wonderful tradition

I love it here! Such a cute town and really nice events at times! Me and my fiancée went on the cinema out door date to watch ‘how to train your dragon 2’ and it was such a sweet night, there were stools up to sell not chocolate and mould wine, they had stools to sell food and more drinks! Popcorn and chocolate! The sound was excellent it was so organised and set up in the perfect manner! It had such a wonderful atmosphere
