We've been using Cornvale for all of the meat we use at the cafe we run in Ingleton. The quality of their products is absolutely excellent. We continue to get incredible feedback from customers, particularly regarding their cumberland sausages and streaky smoked bacon. Absolutely fantastic service and top quality produce, FIVE stars from me.
Wonderful website for ease of ordering and since having our first order, we've stopped going to any other butcher's in favour of Cornvale.
Our next orders already in and I'm very much looking forward to receiving it tomorrow, for the coming weekend.
My own recommendations are the 4oz Natural burgers, the 4oz Venison burgers, the thin linked Cumberland sausage and the Cumbrian Dry cured back bacon is a must have on any order, it's as good a bacon as you'll ever buy.
Make sure you have a good look at all of their offerings, truly fabulous food.

Excellent customer service. I ordered some of Cornvale's excellent chicken sliders for a special bbq party with family and friends. The order was despatched on time and we keenly awaited delivery. Alas, in its infinite wisdom, at the last minute, the courier (DHl) unilaterally decided that delivery would be rescheduled for four days time after a bank holiday, regardless of the perishable contents and after the planned event itself. No option was given for earlier delivery. Concerned at losing a star item on the menu, I notified Cornvale's customer support team who were straight on the case. I don't know how they did it but later that evening, I received a laconic notification from the courier that delivery would be made the following morning. No explanation or apology was provided by DHL. Personally, I would hesitate to use or recommend DHL after this, but Chloe and her colleagues at Cornvale deserve the highest praise both for the quality of their products and for saving the day.

Cornvale have become our butchers of choice. Sheep and cattle graze at the bottom of our garden, so going "down south" for meat means there has to be a good reason. And we do have nice local farm shops, but being honest Cornvale win out pretty much every time. If you imagined the butcher you'd like close by it would look just like Cornvale.

The key is the quality-price combination. Their beef mince makes a genuine difference to a lasagne or chilli when compared with premium supermarket offerings. I have just made a Bolognese with their beef and when we tasted it we were both blown away. A lot of online butchers make a real fuss about maturation days. I have no idea if Cornvale beef is matured for months, but it tastes clean, rich and concentrated. The Lune Valley lamb is deeply flavoured and moist. The pork is Gloucester Old Spot, offered by others as a super premium choice, but at Cornvale it's the standard and really delicious it is too. Sausages, burgers and bacon are great. All in all, it is premium traditionally reared and butchered meat at really good prices. Quality doesn't need to be pretentious and over priced!
