Good Costco depot. Good sized car park on entry, didn't have to look hard to find a spot. Great selection of homewares, clothing, food, drink, electronics. Plus stuff you can't always find on the high street. Worth a look anyway. Very cheap cafe to get hot food behind the tills. Can get cheap fuel. Need a membership before entering so bear that in mind. Good for just a look around.

I stopped by here with a friend who is a member. Parking cool and fuel prices are not bad. I struggled to look for deals and had to use a calculator to compare prices based on volume or per piece, lol. In quite a few instances, these items were cheaper in regular stores.
A few bargains, not enough to justify my signing up as a member.
Would I come here again, maybe but the same way as I did today, not as a customer, but accompanying a member who is making purchases...

What has happened to Costco since the pandemic? I have been a member since 1999 and have see a considerable decline, particularly in the staff and customer service. Everyone seems to have a Costco Card these days so its always packed, but in all honestly is it really that cheap? most items can be found online at the same price or cheaper bar one or two things.
But its the customer service that has recently completely gone, Costco was well known for its amazing customer care, and no fuss returns, well now that has all gone, staff are disinterested, sometimes rude and will argue the toss over any enquiry or return.
I long for the days, when you knew all the staff and they knew you, there was always a pleasant interaction and any query would be sorted without any hassle to keep you happy.
I am seriously thinking of not renewing my membership this year, even after 25 years they wouldn't careless.

The cooked chickens here for £4 are an absolute steal. They're about £6.50 elsewhere for a freshly cooked chicken and they're seasoned and super moist as well. If you're peckish after an hour of manoeuvring the tank-like trolley, go to the food court. Id recommend the chicken bake or their pizza slices, very satisfying and a decent replica of a new York style slice. It takes like 2 minutes to order, for fresh piping hot food and unlimited drink refills. The trouble is finding somewhere to sit and eat.. park your tank-like trolley aside and begin to watch and wait. People are like praying hawks. They'll steal your spot if you're a snail. If you're observant, you might even hear an American person talking, an American in Haydock! How? Why? So many questions.. just come here and shop (without the kids)

Big warehouse type members only shopping loads off stuff some cheaper than supermarkets but lots off stuff not, lots off things are sold in bulk apart from big things like electronics
Big fresh meat,fresh fruit , fresh pre cooked ,fresh bakery sections so there is a lot to waste your money on 😀
Cafe is good and cheap option for a quick bite afterwards and their petrol forecourt is cheaper than most big chain petrol and supermarkets stations

Always great! The bakery section and prepared food is amazing, and they always have an interesting selection of products - from literal gold to clothing, bulk jars of coffee to rotisserie chicken.
