I recently visited Costco Reading to buy some groceries. I was very impressed with the selection of products that they had. They had a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses to choose from. They also had a great selection of prepared foods, which was perfect for a quick and easy meal.

The staff at Costco Reading was very helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions about the products, and they helped me to find the right products for my needs.

People at the membership desk are very rude . I am a paying member, and I don't need to be shout at. If you work in this field, you MUST KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR, she was also covered up with a mask and a thing on her head didn't see her face/name. This was on yesterday's shift. Another 2 of them pretending busy not to deal with the customers 🙄 and taking their time also giving you dirty looks. No one it is nice in this place . All rude and nasty. All employers treating you like you own them smth. Only one lady at the till was kind and nice. Very big queues ,mistreated and overall very busy ...

One of the best Toys R Us for adults. This place has it all.
We love getting there every now and again. It is easily accessible. Lots of parking. Great variety of fresh food. Amazing meat that we mostly get from there. Spices and canned food, especially Tuna.
Last but not least: nothing like £1.5 hotdog with a drink.
Oh, and filling up petrol for a heavily discounted price.
We enjoy Reading Costco.

I have been a member of Costco since November 2009; firstly through a family members account and then in the past 2 years, on my own account.

I regularly enjoyed visiting Costco initially, that was until they opened up their membership to more groups of the general public.

Since then, going to Costco is more of a chore than a pleasure because of all the lengthy queues which were not an issue many years ago. Costco should have really scaled their store infrastructure prior to allowing so many more people to join.

It's now a stressful experience to park with long queues, so now you're p*ssed off even before you've walked in to be met with even more long queues at the checkouts, long queues at the exits for receipt / good in trolley checking and masses of people grouped together like cattle at the food court; especially at peak times - it never used to be like this.

Also, one of the key reasons we used to go to Costco was for their custom celebration cakes. Back in 2009 they were £11.99, a fantastic deal for so much cake which was really tasty, high quality, that can feed many people.

Now, even though that cake price has gone up to £16.99, unfortunately the quality of the cake has gone down.

What used to be a nice light, fluffy sponge cake with American frosting on top, is now a lot denser and the frosting is a lot more sweet. It's too sweet now. It definitely doesn't taste as good as it once did. The sweetness also tastes more artificial and takes away from the once nice flavours of the cake.

Even the chocolate fudge cake which was a favourite of mine for years is now steeped in so much more sweetness and icing sugar. It doesn't taste as good as it once did.

So many people who had never tried Costco cake before used to compliment them so much, but now, I only ever hear 'yeah it's not bad'.

I would pay a premium to have a cake that was a little more expensive but tasted good, than a cake that was cheaper and tastes cheap too.

Huge!!! Everything available in bulk with great prices but be sure to compare with highstreet supermarkets. And great hot foods to go including their huge pizza deal for £8.99

Costco is the largest American brand and serves millions of people in UK . The service is horrible , the car park is a mess . The guest services counter is a mess like Manchester United . I do not find anything value for money except some on offer . Fuel station is open last 2 years and the traffic is unmanageable. Its cheap fuel prices compare to Reading .

A standard size Costco that has great variety and price. They have good stocks and offers going on throughout the year. An excellent superstore. Fuel is always cheaper here. They sell everything starting from daily groceries, clothing,electronics to jewelry. They also have tyres. Parking could be challenging on weekends and the other problem could be long queue for billing and purchase checked at exit gate.
