Went in the shop tonight with my children and was followed around the whole store I confronted the worker . I asked why we was being followed to be told that's what they have to do now follow there customers . So basically saying anyone that enters the shop is a thief . Always used the shop and nish that owns it is lovely but deff lost my custom and his staff need training in there customers services walking extra 5 mins up the road is deff worth it then being treated like that

Every time I am served by the man I presume to be the owner, my total is drastically higher than expected. Today, I walked back after doing the maths myself and realising it didn’t even remotely add up. I asked how much he charged for a certain item and he gave me an amount much higher than I am charged for the same item when served by anyone else there. Not only that, but the number he gave me wouldve still meant I was charged incorrectly. If he’s in there, avoid it because he’ll just rip you off. Pathetic to lose customers over trying to get yourself a couple of extra quid.

Not the best experience. The sales assistant saying there was a 10% surcharge for not wearing a mask which I admit I had forgotten. Then when challenged laughed at me saying it was a joke .

Absolutely disgusting I been using this shop for thirty years now I will only be getting the papers from st Dunstan’s store in Canterbury.As to charge £1.50 for a loaf of bread is a total rip off only the other day they said we won’t extort our customers this is exactly what they are doing x shame on you and people want others to keep the little stores going then you should stop hiking up the prices 😡😡
