Our waitress Roaxanne was amazing, great personality and vibe,

I ordered the cote de buef to my self ( quite hungry and as a powerlifter / bodybuilder intake required for the day is high and I haven't eaten for a large majority of the day

Usually when someone orders a meal for 2 to them selves this causes issues or their is a silly comment, but not here Roxanne was amazing and professional and advised on the best selection and cooks for our meals with a great sense of humour also.

she noticed that the table was going to be too small for the amount of food ordered and offered a larger table with no hesitation moved our drinks to the new table and always checked in on us to ensure everything was satisfactory.

customer service was fantastic I had no problem paying the service charge due to this hospitality we was made welcome and looked after

Would recommend and definitely would go again we came here randomly while walking through Shrewsbury and the menu looked really appealing so a unintentional visit and came aware amazed

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Côte in Shrewsbury this weekend, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The food was nothing short of fantastic—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Every course was a delight, from the starters to the dessert.

What truly made the evening unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Rachel, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her warm, friendly manner and attention to detail genuinely made my weekend. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and she made us feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. She convinced me to support Liverpool FC.

I’ll definitely be recommending Côte to all my friends. Whether you're after a romantic dinner or a relaxed meal with friends, this place delivers on all fronts. Five stars, without a doubt!

Me & my husband went to Cote for a meal couple of days ago. We would love to share our experience. Meal was just perfect. Beautiful food and stuff was really nice and welcoming. We been served by girl name Ana. Very professional and polite.

We had such a lovely time at Coté! From start to finish, everything was spot-on — the food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service couldn’t have been better. A special mention goes to Rachel, who really made our evening. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. It’s rare to find service that's genuine and personal these days! We’ll definitely be coming back soon — thank you, Rachel and the Coté team, for such a wonderful experience.

I came in with some friends on Friday night, and everything was brilliant.
Oli, the manager was very attentive and friendly. He walked us through the new menu which they brought out not so long ago, and it was an experience to remember. Free Flow Frites and sauce! He also gave us the best option for wines based on what we were going to choose for our food as we sat down to give us an idea of what direction we should go in.
The food quality was amazing, but the taste was even better!
Even the atmosphere was full of laughter and very smiley staff members who beautifully presented our food.
Since we aren’t from shrewsbury, this was a delightful evening.

Very warm welcome, our young american wait on staff member was brilliant! Starter, we had the scallops and black pudding, it was lovely, felt the black pudding should have been warmer and crispier, it was quite mushy and luke warm, tasted lovely though, mains were perfect, sauvignon was OK, would have been nicer if colder, the rose was really lovely, right temperature, overall though lovely and we will come again, many thanks

Cote has been one of my go to restaurants all over the country for years. Always been reliable in my travels.
Today I visited Shrewsbury to be met by a charmless manager/front of house person who clearly had taken no time to improve her appearance before arriving for work.
I was shown to a dirty table in an empty restaurant which was only cleaned when I pointed it out. Even then it was cleaned as though I was asking too much.
Main course of seafood linguine. Tasteless. No chilli, garlic, salt, pepper or herbs to elevate it.
Crème Brûlée very nice. Lovely American waitress.
Given the bill of another table. No apology. Just the correct one shoved in front of me.
Staff chatting to each other at the exit. No thank you . No goodbye.
Cote has definitely lost the plot.

The food was average. The steak was too well done and very thin. Due to the steak being too cooked, it was quite tough to chew. However, because it was very thin, it was easy to cut into smaller pieces to consume. The french onion soup was nice, but did not live up to expectations considering it was a speciality. The salad tasted good but not outstanding. The camembert creme brulee was pretty interesting. It was tasty, but I would have preferred some more sugar. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. I came at a later hour (2pm) so there weren't many people but the food did take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to arrive.
