Couldn't be more happy with my beautiful chest of drawers! We gave Steve a rough idea of what we wanted and how much room we had and he went away and built and painted these beautiful drawers. The wood is super sturdy and he even delivered to up to my flat in London. Can't recommend enough, thank you so much!

We went to Steve to see if he could restore our old dining table that had seen better days, and he has transformed it from something old and knackered into a table that looks brand new. He was friendly, knowledgable and went out of his way to give us amazing service collecting and dropping the table around our move. We also ended up buying a stunning new front door from his brother who is next door, and we couldn’t be happier - we would highly recommend Country House to all.

My front door was destroyed by these people .They said the door could be stripped of paint ,however they never allowed it to dry and to sand it down professionally was not done.We have spent hours trying to remedy an unprofessional finish.This is totally unacceptable ,a shoddy service as we have now been told by real professionals

Love this shop!!! Been coming here for 4 years for little treasures that are not in everyone's homes. Most of my house is decorated with bespoke furniture and wall art cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. Owner is a really nice guy and also does amazing restoration work, so good in fact that I have agreed to hire him to re-vamp and restore my kitchen at a fraction of the price it would cost to put in new units. He'll probably not like me saying this but he does offer a discount if you spend enough in there or buy enough products and for that and the great service of delivery to your door for free locally, I would always come back again and again
