Lovely pub in a nice location. The food was excellent, good portions & really well presented. The interior of the pub is very traditional. The staff were friendly, helpful & polite. There is a good selection of beers. The menu isn't overly complicated, but it does give a varied choice.

I went for a meal with my son on Sunday. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were polite and attentive and there were many other customers also enjoying Sunday lunch. I met the manager Ash, who personally took care of us and was a really nice guy. If you want excellent food, in a lovely setting then I truly recommend that you pay Cromwell’s a visit. I have already made another booking and am looking forward to another very enjoyable experience

We went to Cromwells for Sunday lunch today and I can’t praise them enough.. the service was great and the Sunday lunch was delicious. I had the pork and my partner had the beef. Both came with a good selection of vegetables that were very tasty, on a bed of celeriac mash with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a jug of gravy. I would definitely recommend and we will back to eat there again.

Had a really good time, we went on Sunday at 2pm which is prime time for a roast dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! The food came out after only 15-20 mins. The sirloin was so good, wasn’t dry in the slightest and the whole plate was unreal which laid over a layer of pure which was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone who lives/passing by Collingham. Well done Ash👍

Met family for a quick lunch. Pub wasn’t too busy, it was 12 but was filling up when we were leaving.
The beef burger was pretty standard but the chunky chips were delicious.
Staff were nice and friendly and the pub was clean so all in all we would go back.

I arranged, a surprise 70th birthday meal for my Dad last night for a party of 17. I'd like to say a massive thank you to Lee & the staff & compliments to the Chef, for going above & beyond to making the night,very special & unforgettable! The food was outstanding! The portions were huge & very tasty & reasonably priced. We all ordered differently with the starters, mains & desserts & all, thoroughly enjoyed the food & said how amazing its been. ❤️I will be recommending you, to others without a doubt & will be returning. 10/10. Thanks again x

We were ravenous and called here at lunchtime today looking for a quick bite to eat.
The outside space looked great and the interior did also, however that is where the positives end.
Other tables seemed to be getting service but ours not once.
Ordered fish, chips and peas. Also sausage and mash.
It arrived in a timely manner. The slim fish, skin on, was poor indeed, the peas dry, the small quantity of chips decent. Sausage & the mash average, small amount of undercooked 'caramelised' onions. The gravy was very poor. I had to drown that meal in ketchup to get through it.
No check back, like I previously said, no table service whatsoever.
We had to approach the bar to pay, even at this point we were not asked how our meal was.
Could not recommend.
