The club boasts distinct floors, each with its own unique atmosphere and excellent music selection. I had a positive experience with the security staff they were perhaps a bit cautious, but I never felt uncomfortable. Based on my experience, it's definitely one of the top gay clubs in Manchester.

I would highly recommend staying away from this place. My two friends who were acting perfectly normal weren’t allowed in with absolutely no explanation. The bouncer said to my friend ‘I’m not arguing with you you’re a woman’ when she asked for an explanation. The staff are on such a power trip, do not come here.

We headed there and the bouncers (whatever that means, antiquated term) would not let us in because we were not regulars. How do we become regulars if you don't let us in, in the first place? Please respond because I brought 10 local people with me who would frequent regularly.

While I generally prefer this to its sister spot Sub 101, theres a lot of issues across both areas. On the plus side, its bright, its full of chaotic disco character and the mood generally is quite energetic and fun. On the downside, the drinks are massively overpriced and the toilets often seem to be in a state of disrepair.

Unprofessional and extremely aggressive bouncer!

I gotta vent about the absolute dumpster fire of an experience I had at Cruz. This guy needs to be shown the door himself because he's single-handedly ruining the vibe of this place.

Not only was he unprofessional, but he was also downright aggressive. I get it, you're supposed to keep the peace, but there's a way to do it without acting like you're auditioning for a role in Fight Club.

And let's not even get started on his attitude. This dude had the nerve to act like he was doing me a favor by letting me into the club. Newsflash, buddy: you're not the gatekeeper to heaven, you're just a glorified bouncer. And a bad one at that.

Every other review I've read echoes my sentiments. It’s very clear It's not just me feeling the same way. Fire him or train him the right way.

Come here for Animalz. I’m not sure what else to say apart from it’s a club! Drinks are expensive but if you don’t expect that from a club in the gay village you’re on a different plane of existence. I’ve never had a problem with staff here though with it being busy you will be waiting a while for a drink.

I have a limp and this club turned me away for being “unsteady on my feet”, they would not hear my explanation and heavily discriminated against me. Very disappointed. Was not expecting a club that is so open to be so discriminatory towards me for just being disabled. Even after my friends tried to tell them they refused to hear. So disgusted. Cannot even comment on the club because the bouncers refused to let me in.
