Like all these sort of places, pop in regularly and you’ll find treasure. Fair prices, nice staff, good variety of styles and quality, in theory something for everyone.

Think VERY carefully before spending any significant money with these guys. I bought an expensive cast iron table and four matching chairs - newly painted/restored. One of the chair legs has snapped off with 3 months’ use, revealing rust/rot underneath the paint. Department will not even entertain a replacement or a refund, stating they have a ‘black and white no return policy’ and all items are ‘sold as seen’ - an astonishing response when we are talking about a fault which was disguised at purchase (vs a known/visible defect/wear on a secondhand/vintage item).

In summary, excellent business model for ripping people off! Presents - and prices goods - as a retailer but claims to be ‘much like an antique fair or boot seller’ (their words) when things go wrong. I will be escalating due to breach of the Consumer Rights Act - a law which is applicable to sellers of new AND secondhand goods.

Great little market with independent stalls. Huge variety of "stuff" got a lovely rug and small chunky coffee table - bargains
