First time visiting this fantastic pub and was very impressed. The staff are wonderful and the food is absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area. The other bonus is most of the menu can be had as gluten free and the staff were very knowledgeable regarding the health implications around dietary intolerances which put my daughter really at ease as not many places seem to care so much. Thank you for making it a fantastic experience for us all

We stopped here on our way back from a weekend away in North Devon, we saw it on the way up and my wife was keen to try it.
It certainly stands out as a place you’ll want to try with its appearance fr the road. Someone has spent a few quid making this place look appealing.

My wife ordered a pizza and I went for Tacos, although we split both so we could share. Personally I thought the food was ok-good, I’d go back again but not desperate to. My wife thought it was really good so… 🤷🏼‍♂️😂.

Service was good, nice and polite people served us. The interior decor has a nice American theme going on, although the music grates a little after a while. Toilets clean and modern which is nice.

Very accommodating for us as a party of 8 adults and one child. Large menu choice of dishes but unfortunately for me most of the meals were hot and spicy! The pizza was enjoyed as were the loaded fries and burgers. I choose the gammon steak egg and chips as that had no chilli or jalapenos.

As an ex Capetonian I know good food. The 12oz burger I had was amazing.. perfectly cooked and full of flavour! Service was excellent and my partner and I were welcomed with our dog. 5 star value too. Highly recommended

Myself and my friend stopped here on our first night in a local campsite- having travelled 3 hours we were not in the mood to cook! We stumbled across this gem, managed to book a table online with ease for an hour ahead (we were very pleased with).

From the moment we walked in a member of staff was there to greet us and welcome us to our table. We promptly got our drink order taken and they came in a timely fashion. Having had a look at the specials I fancied a steak where I made nearly every adjustment under the sun, but it wasn’t a challenge for the team! The steak was cooked to perfection with fluffy yet crispy chips too. My friend highly complimented her burger and was so so pleased. There was no delay and I was quite surprised at how quickly the food came out. Dessert was a lovely biscoff cheesecake !

During our time at the table there was a family we overheard requesting an order of an item on the menu to be done for their child, lady checked with the kitchen and they could do it! Another table next to us had a gluten intolerance and many items were catered to be gluten free, I was quite amazed!

The only minor detail which I could say requires improvement is asking whether there is an allergy for anyone dining in. I did make them aware of my allergy so it did not hinder my experience in the slightest!

An American style restaurant and food, but there are also dishes like Italian style pasta and tacos and of course vegan options.
Very kind staff and dogs are welcome.
