We did not stay but stopped in by chance for a meal. The service was fantastic, everywhere was clean. The fish and chips were amazing!!!! Fresh real potato chips, freshly cooked and just perfect. The fish was beautifully cooked with the most delicious batter. Good portions and great value for money. Would highly recommend to others and will definitely stop in again.

Came here for one night with the Caledonian Tour. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms and beds were to a high standard. Food was amazing. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. Genuinely a gem of a place. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, highly recommended a visit. The beauty salon on site it’s beautiful, it’s a lovely quiet place to have a treatment and relax, the bar is big and open. They offer a free Continental breakfast or a full fry for £5. The staff are amazing, housekeeping are brilliant. There are four main people I wish to talk about. Bethany, her customer service skills are absolutely phenomenal. Genevieve Is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble.|Jim and Maried are the owners and they give you such a warm welcome it’s like being welcomed into the family. Definitely get a book in here highly recommended and also check out for weddings as it is a phenomenal place to have a wedding.

I have ate here a number of times since May, once for an 80th, a 50th wedding anniversary and a 60th birthday. Each time the staff were amazing and the food if out of this world. This is the best place for eating whether it be off the menu or carvery. No other carvery matches this and it is very reasonably priced. Every single person enjoyed their meals, there was no faults. The roast beef dinner and veg is just amazing.

Review only on Sunday carvery dining!

Most of the staff were friendly, over 60% of the dining room staff was doing nothing only getting in the way of the better staff. Table's needing cleaned, people needing serviced etc, with the better staff members being run of their feet. I'm assuming the normal staff are now finished in college for the summer And the new staff was not trained fully yet
Three bar "boys" behind the bar only one working, other two standing having a good old chin wag, and the bar top looking like they just had a big function and they were cleaning up after words, with glasses piled 3 and 4 high!!!!!
The function/ Dining room could do with a good refurbishment , and the front lobby a touch-up refurbishment.
Fantastic location and views, with loads of parking.

We went to the Sunday carvery on 22-06-2025 the starter and main course were very good .but my wife got a large light coloured hair in her ice cream desert. We mentioned to staff and reception and were not charged for the hair. Later i sent an email to complain about the hair in the desert (this was not the first time that we got hair in the food but let it go). Their reply was very weak stating that they all wore hairnets and nobody had hair of this colour. We have been using the hotel for 25 to 30 years but we certainly not have this problem again.

We stayed here overnight, the staff were extremely friendly, the location was excellent with good parking facilities. We ate in the restaurant and the service was excellent as was the food! It was very tasty, fresh and good value for money. The room was spacious with good amenities and a very modern look: the hotel had kept its charm in the lobby while having “modern” rooms. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to stop in for a meal!

What to say? I've not a negative to mention. This beauty of gem is perfect. Every staff member will go above and beyond to assist you no matter what request. The beds and pillows are like clouds. The local area is great too with everything you could need. If you do one thing in the North of Ireland, make sure to spend a few nights here!!!
