I wish I could leave 0 star ,I had guests coming on a short notice so I called this shop and placed my meat order for collection I thought I’ll try this shop as my usual butcher is quite far, they overcharged on per kg rate they quoted over the phone when ordering and sold me more meat in weight than I had ordered when questioned about the price increase they said the guy that took the order wasn’t aware of the correct prices and for selling me extra weight i was told it’s okay you got a big order I’m sure you can manage with this little bit extra” As I was in a rush with guests waiting at home so I paid and left in a rush. When we cooked the meat it had actually gone off that’s when we realised why they sold me more than I asked for we was very embarrassed in front of our guests . I would definitely not ever go back to this shop again and I would advise others to stay away from this shop. Absolute con merchants stay away.

High prices. This place is a rip off. Almonds are being sold for £8.99 for 600g when everywhere else it’s £5.99. Got sold desi ghee for £14.69 when in Tesco it’s £10. Should’ve checked earlier

This place is such a rip-off. Because of the festive period they’ve bumped their prices up in the knowledge that people will end up spending their money whatever the cost. That’s poor business practice. I would warn shoppers to be careful in the fruit/veg section outside the shop as unsuspecting customers are being overcharged for items without even realising.

Fruit and vegetables aren't always fresh. I bought 8 avocados and 7 went straight into the bin. Was not impressed. Same thing happened with a bag of onions. I was desperate as the major supermarkets were closed (Sunday). Better off waiting and buying from the supermarkets.
