Since the new tills arrived you don’t get much interaction with staff. For some people shopping is the only time of day they will see and speak to someone. ?

It's a basic small co-op. I've needed assistance twice, and both times, I felt like I was asking staff to move big Ben 2 inches to the right. On one occassion, the woman had a face like a slapped arse and seemed "put out" that I needed her help. No eye contact as she came over, a "Yes" when I looked at her at the till to get her attention. She was serving so I was waiting for her to be finished. Walked over with no conviction, no eye contact, no words. Fixed the machine so it gave me a receipt and slumped away.

Deceptively large store for a village store. Limited car parking on the high street. There is a large free carpark to the rear of the store off Queens road.
Store carriers a good variety of supermarket essentials. Baked goods, fruit and vegetable chillers, fridges and freezers for ready meals along with meats, fish, cheeses, yogurt and desserts.
Costa coffee machine in the lobby along with hot snacks or cold snacks and sandwiches.
House hold essentials available.
Drinks isle for soft drinks, wines, beers, spirits, teas and coffee items.
Sweets and biscuits along with savoury snacks also available.

Store was clean and well kept and there were plenty of staff in store who were polite. However for all the staff working there was only one working on the tills which led to a long queue. I also noticed that many of the shelves were missing stock and some shelves were pretty bare. Not ideal for a local convenience store.

This has been my local co-op for quite a few years, and I visit daily. Staff always friendly and willing to help in any way, even if it means running to the stock room yet again,. Never been disappointed produce always kept at its freshest,with a good selection of fruit and veg.
Oh and last year, I got a whole weeks shopping free, when my divi came out. Well done Guys!!!!

A very convenient convenience store indeed. They stock a fairly good range of products at a reasonable price. They sell a good selection of wines, fruit and vegetables locally sourced. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. They have an ATM, lottery and pay point too. They are also a Hermes parcel drop off point.
